16.The tension hasn't settled

After a few mills, Ember took Ryan to a side asking me to stay right where I stood. I was pretty sure that Ember was counseling him to stay far from me and never do it again. I smiled at his action as he had somehow got the idea that he was trouble. When they got back to where I stood, Ryan walked behind us as Ember started asking me how I let him do that to me and why. I didn't want to answer that question but after all Ember was my brother and I couldn't hide my feelings from him. 

He smirked at my reply saying not to change my hate for him into anything else as he could hurt me like he hurt Margie. I asked if he had been through the same as it seemed like he had some experience. He told me that he'll tell me later as he wasn't in a mood for stories. I looked back at Ryan as he kicked a pebble at me. I raised an eyebrow at him asking what he wants. He called me towards him I walked towards him asking what he wants. He whispered,"How did you shock me?" and I smiled just saying that it was my brother trying to protect me. He raised an eyebrow at Ember and asked again in a really surprised manner that I was the one kissing him but how did Ember shock me. I couldn't think of a good excuse so I told him that it was telepathy. 

I knew that if I kept walking with him then he would ask me more and more questions so I walked towards Ember asking him where we were going. He wasn't sure either. Then I asked him if he had any map so that we could trace where we were and maybe be able to find mom and dad. He showed us his half cracked phone which had died. I had an idea about how we could charge it. I whispered it into Ember's ears but he wasn't so sure of my idea. Yet he agreed. Ember called Ryan over with a look on his face that said that if he tried making any move on me, the phone won't be the one to get electrocuted. Ryan walked towards us swallowing a lump which had been stuck there since the private talk with Ember. 

Ryan held the phone while I held one out for Ryan to hold and the other on the charging socket. Suddenly I felt a wave of current flowing through me and exciting my body through both me hands. Ryan almost fainted but thankfully I caught him. I understood that if we passed used him as wires, he would die. I laid him down next to a tree before trying to on the phone. The phone wasn't fully charged but had gained 17% which would have been enough if we used it wisely. 

I turned on the mobile data but Ember had already finished it(wonderful). I knew that there was a internet cafe in a mile of two. I asked Ember to follow me while I put Ryan hands over my shoulder helping him walk without fainting. Ember wan't confident about that but he walked in front of us and found a tea farm in front of us. While going, he kept turning back to check on us, it was kinda funny but I tried controlling my laugh. He asked me where to go next as he wasn't so sure of the path we had taken. I was a little confused and knew that getting lost wan't on my to do list. 

There was a farmer walking through the crops spraying chemicals all over them. I walked over to him and asked him for the directions to the cafe. He gave me my answer but asked me another question,"But what are you kids doing here so early in the morning?" I knew that Ember heard the question too. I needed an answer quick. I looked around for clues when a group of old people marched by us. I quickly replied,"Walking, morning walks are really healthy" At that moment I didn't have any control over my words and they just spilled out. He looked at me and then at the guys with a confused look but still nodded at my answer thinking that we was crazy.

I quickly walked towards the guys and directed them towards the cafe before anyone else thought that Ryan was drunk.
