Somehow an hour had passed and we had to go back to my studies. Later that night, when I was trying to imagine how my family would have been if they hadn't met that accident and if my brother wasn't held hostage by his kidnappers. That's when I realized that if I try to telepathically connect to my brother, then maybe I could stop thinking that I really had no life and than I'll always be invisible. People usually want to have invisibility as their power but I'm pretty sure that once they realized that we exist, they'll definitely not want to even think of having it. It's just funny when I think about it.

I just closed my eyes and imagined my brother and me in a my uncle's room(yes, the same one as before, the one in which I had time traveled to). I could't connect to him for the first few tries but I kept trying until I had this feeling where I could feel a strong wave of current pass through me. I realized that he was here. It had turned dark for me, like I had been blindfolded. I could still hear him now. I hesitantly asked where have you been? He gave me a faint smile saying Dehradun(thankfully it was close to Mohan range, the place where my military school/orphanage/home was). I wasn't usually good at conversations so I stared at the darkness trying to understand what his reaction to my stupidity was. Turns out he understood the reason behind my silence. He started, "so lets start over"(he sounded a little more calm than the last time I had seen him) "So I don't think you remember me, my name is Ember, exactly like you, I don't remember any of our past memories like what happened to our parents, it seems as if like someone had intentionally erased both our memories but couldn't successfully finish it."
