32.A sudden change!

Turns out, he ain't so bad after all. Maybe I just jumped to conclusions. Yo, his thoughts have more yeah than useful thoughts. And does he really have feelings for me? Wait is Ember awake yet, I should go check on him.
He's already awake? He surely sleeps like Kumbhakarnan(a character from Hindu mythology, he was one of the brothers of Ravana. Ravana was a king and a well knowledged man but his pride fun over him and turned him evil resulting in him kidnapping Sita, wife of lord Ram. Kumbhakarnan was given a wish that he would like to sleep for a really long time like hibernation and if someone wants him up in the middle of his sleep cycle, he does. That's a huge explanation but ya.) So do I ask him if anything is working cause he surely had a long face. But will he wasn't too share it with me? Here goes nothing. "Hey Ember, why the long face?" He didn't seem like he wanted to talk about but me being me, I tried repeating the question to annoy him and eventually, he lay his head on my shoulder with a tear rolling down his face! 

I couldn't do anything but ask,"You know that you can trust me right?" He just sat there without saying a word and his silence was mysterious and scary. I just patted his head signalling that I was there for him. From the other corner, I could notice Ryan watching us. It was kinda creepy but in a cute way. 

A few minutes passed and Ember was still not back to normal. He has been like this since Ryan and Ember fought back there. But this silence didn't look like he had some grudge against Ryan but ....... it looked like he had blipped into the future and seen our fate or something like that. Wow! he can do that? Then he looked up to me and said,"Amber, I think we should go back!" 

What does he mean? We were so close to Bareilly. I just said in shock,"Just tell me what's wrong." He just said,"Your precious to me, don't wanna loose you!" As he said these words, the truck came to a halt. Ryan got up from his spot and went to look around. But when he told us that we were back to where it all started, the place where I gave Ryan his scar, the local shop. Turns out that it was going in the opposite way. 

I helped Ember up and tried sneaking out of the truck before anyone caught sight of us. We didn't have any idea of where we were going now but we just ran into a bush. I tried asking Ember why he asked us to return but he wasn't gonna give it away. We now had no other option but to go back to the orphanage and us living alone in the forest wouldn't help and we were soon gonna run out of food. We just needed a excuse for running away from the orphanage as they would definitely find out that we had sneaked out, thanks to the stupid roll call. And what are we going to do with Ember?
