Chapter 6
7:10 am. I looked in the mirror. Today I was wearing a dark red skater skirt, embellished collar crepe top, sole society ivy t-strap flat. My hair had become curly from putting my hair in a bun last night, I just added a white bow.
I was now looking in the mirror applying some mascara.
"Breakfast is ready" Brody's voice startled me from behind.
"Almost done" closing the mascara and putting in my makeup bag.
I turned around and walked toward him. He was standing by the door with his arms crossed. "What?" I looked at him and crossed my arms like he did.
"Why do you take a long time with this?" He asked
"What do you mean?"
"Dressing up to impress others."
I laughed, "You think all I do is to impress people?" He shrugged, "Well I don't, I don't care about being popular Brody, do you?"
"I don't care what anyone thinks of me" He looked down at his feet.
"Well me neither. I dress up because I like to, not to please others" He laughed, he's such an ass. " I can't wait for those rooms to be finished" I took my purse and walked past him.
"That makes too of us."

The whole morning was okay. This was now the last class of the day. I walked in and sat in the assigned seat.
"Alright class, please settle down, we have lot's to go through today!" The teacher yelled over the load voices of the students. The bell rang and everyone sat down. "Alright today we start the last project of the year!" The students cheered.
"I have allowed you to work on this with partners, so after I have explained the directoins I will let you pick your partners." The teacher started to explain all the things we needed to do for the project. It seemed pretty simple things about the sun and stars. After she was done explaining she took out a clip board and started to write down partner names.
A bunch of girls gathered by Brody. Typical. "Sorry girls, I already have a partner" He said.
His probably going to choose some girl who wants to get into his pants. There probably not even going to do the project, just go to his room and -
"Adeline" Brody's voice inturneped my thoughts.
What?
My head shot up from my notes and looked at him bemused. The girls who were by him looked at me up and down. They left all whispering and hating me. Great.
"What was that" I hissed at him
He looked amused, "What? we would make great partners"
"I'm not doing all the work, if that's what you were hoping for" I narrowed by eyebrows.
"Now what kind of gentlemen would I be if I let you do that"
"That's the things," I smiled, "your not."
He stood and went to tell the teacher that we were now partners.
The football practice was the same as yesterday. And Stephanie was just as bossy at cheer.
We stopped at a red light on our way to Brody's house. "Um so Kenzi invited me to her party" I didn't mean to make it sound like a question, but it did. "I know your going, so can you give me a ride?" This time it was a question.
