Red Moon
Miles away, hidden there in the sky
Lies the good'ol Red Moon
Every day I steal a glance
Every day I count the stars
My mother says that stars are endless
And that there is no use of counting them
But I can't resist
And so I persist
One day a star fell into my hands
It asked for my help to go back to its land
O how I wish I hadn't done what I did
Alas I can't admit
As I now finally look down upon the Earth and its people
I only hope that they don't find the star buried under the Peepal.
