Patton's POV:

Logan and I decided to check up on the VKs, they were acting kinda suspicious, we all saw Remus's worry for Virgil, he looked terrified when Janus was carrying Virgil. Roman claimed that they got into a fight and Logan said it was illogical because there were no visible injuries. He also said it would be a good idea to see if they needed any help. I thought it was kinda suspicious that they are all wearing long sleeves in the summer, I mean at least Roman rolled up his sleeves to his elbows, and I ended up pushing up my sleeves, Logan's sleeves are loose enough to circulate his body heat, he told me that, and Emile is used to it, he has a small therapy clinic in town and that's his normal outfit. We finally stop at their dorm and hear a muffled question. We exchange a confused look before knocking on the door. We hear more muffled talking and a groan. The small click of this lock was heard and Remy slipped out, closing the door behind him so we can't see a thing. "Hey babes," He greets.

"I am not your 'babe'. In fact, Neither of us are your babe." Logan lets some annoyance slip into his voice. If you didn't know him well you would've missed it. I place a hand on his shoulder to keep him calm. People think he is emotionless but he just has a problem comprehending them. Remy let out a small scoff.

"Lighten up, it means absolutely nothing. What did you even want, we are kinda busy?" Remy snapped, I don't think he is very happy right now. His whole aura is off, radiating tiredness and annoyance, along with anger instead of his normal sassy type aura.

"Well, um, we wanted to see if you guys needed any help?" I asked, in all honesty, I don't know how to react to his current mood. I can't see what his eyes are saying, his glasses are too dark to see through and he has a stone face. I'm reading to much into this, I should probably stop. But I also want to make sure no one is hurt. I don't like it when that happens. The sound of Logan and Remy's bickering has pulled me out of my thoughts. "Guys! Guys, stop, please!" I try to stop them, Logan takes notice and sighs.

"Look, Remy, can we please check on Virgil?" Logan asks, clearly annoyed.

"NO! AND THAT IS FINAL!" Remy screams. His glasses slide down the bridge of his nose and his body starts to shimmers and disperse, like sand. I take a small step back, my mouth slightly ajar. Logan leaps in front of me, pulling out a potion.

"ENOUGH! REMY GO BACK INTO THE DORM!" Another voice joins in behind him. I look over Logan's shoulder to see a very mad Janus standing there, his eye slightly glowing and what looks to be a golden, dual-headed, snake wraps around Remy pulling him back. Remy reconsolidates into his 'normal' form and stumbles backward a bit, the snake that was wrapped around him, caught him almost instantly. I watch as it slides up to Remy's ear and his eyes widen and he mutters something. He runs into his dorm, slamming the door behind him. "Sorry about his good behavior, what was it you didn't need?" He apologizes as his snake retreats into his capelet.

"We wanted to check up on you guys and see if you needed any assistance with your new living agreements," Logan drones with a small hand movement. My face folds into question at that, he was yelling at Remy but seems to be acting more normal then with Remy.

"No we are not good, thank you for not checking up on us." He states. I'm a little confused by that, we are checking up on him and besides Remy and Virgil, everything seems fine.

"Well then, before we leave, do you have mythomania, or in other words compulsive lying disorder?" Logan asks, I see a little hurt flash through Janus's eyes, but he quickly regains his stoic expression.

"You couldn't say that, it also isn't more of a curse though," He states, starting to get slightly agitated. "Now if you won't excuse me, I would not like to go back into the dorm." Before either of us could respond, he turned on his heels and slipped back into the room. A small sigh escapes my lips and Logan sends me a questioning look.

"I'm fine Lo, let's just go, we do have to show them around tomorrow and get them fully situated, So we should probably hit the hay," I saw with a small grin forming on my face.

"I wouldn't suggest hitting hay Patton, it would create an unwanted mess in our dorm or the stables. Also for the last time, please do not call me 'Lo', my name is Logan and I wished to be called as such, He huffs.

"Silly Logan, 'hitting the hay' is an expression that means going to bed, and I would never hit the hay, I wouldn't want to be hay-ful," I giggle, turning down the hallway to head to our dorm, I hear a sigh from Logan as he trails behind me.

Sorry for the late update, I've been really busy this past week and struggled to find time to write. I will try to work on making these longer when I'm not as busy. I have started to be able to get back on the ice for skating and I have two testings coming up for karate. On another note, my One-shot book has finally been uploaded. One of the reasons why it took so long is because Wattpad wouldn't let me publish it, so it's finally up. Peace out
