Ultimatum (A Sanders Sides Descendents fan fic)

Prologue

Many stories have been told about Auradon before The Fall of Villians. Some people remember it, some don't, but have heard stories from it. It was the night everything changed. It was a year after Maleficent was released from her lizard form and her powers were taken from her. She moved back onto the Isle with all the other power stripped villains, there they planned revenge on Auradon with some of the vengeful children. It took them a year to fully set up the plan, but when the plan was in motion, everything went south. They were supposed to poison the Queen and King during dinner but Mal ended up going into labor with Logan before they sat down to eat. After she gave birth to Logan, the villains struck, they were able to stab Mal, who was already weak from giving birth, died quickly after. Roman and Logan were rushed out of the room as guards ran in to apprehend the Villains. When they were revealed, the group was mixed with VKs and Villains. The people of Auradon rioted when they heard the news. They wanted the VKs and Villains to be put back on the Isle, the barrier back up, and the bridge to be torn down. King Ben agreed with them but kept Carlos, Evie, Gil, Harry, Jay, and Uma in Auradon because of how they helped the kingdom. Everyone who was relocated back on the Isle was inraged by the acts, they called it an abomination. For the first couple of years, the people on the Isle were given decent food and had a stable living condition, but that started to crumble and it returned to its original state before the barrier was put up. The only thing the Royals didn't know was that the barrier was weaker than it was originally. Only the strong could use magic but it was weaker than it was with the barrier down. Since very few people on the Isle had magical abilities, nobody in Auradon knew about it. Years later when it is the year of Prince Roman's Coronation, he asks his father one thing. "Could we slowly let the VKs come back to Auradon, they deserve a second chance." Everyone on the Isle was still bitter from the fiasco 15 years ago, this is where the story begins again, 4 VKs causing mayhem on the Isle.
