THE SUN ROSE but the man was already awake, lacing up his boots and standing to straighten out the shirt he wore. it was plain black, nothing special and fitting loose over a muscular torso. he was fit, but still lean and not bulky looking. everything about him was proportional and seemingly looked perfect.

"how many times are you going to fix your hair." it was the kid, her legs hanging off the bed as she watched the ravenette stare at himself in the mirror. he glared at her through the smooth surface, turning to look at her directly now. "i thought you were hungry, put your shoes on." jungkook said.

taehyung was still in the shower, but he told them to go ahead. jungkook had to talk to the kid anyways, get some information out of her since taehyung was too soft to do so. it wasn't even an insult, not when the brunette admitted to it and said it was better for the ravenette to take her to breakfast. as long as he didn't swear or say anything out right mean.

"there's a hair out of place."

"i'm seriously going to need you to put those shoes on or i'm leaving you here with jimin." jungkook shot back and the girl jumped off the bed at that. "relax bro i'm going." she said, and jungkook looked back at the mirror to see what she was talking about.

when they finally left the hotel room they decided to take the rv. it was bigger than the van but easier to drive since there wasn't a trailer hooked to the back of it. "i saw a pancake house down the road." jungkook said, checking that she had strapped in with the seatbelt before turning onto the street. she shrugged and looked out the window. "that's fine." she said.

jungkook isn't sure where she put it all, considering the amount of food he's watched this kid eat in single sittings, she was still tiny as ever. it was sunnier today but she wore the same beanie anyways.

they were seated quickly, not a long wait and soon they both had orange juice in front of them. "what about blueberry pancakes." jungkook suggested, he peered over the menu at the girl. she smiled at that with a nod, "you should ask if they have blueberry syrup, my mom used to use that whenever we ate-" just as quick as she started talking she stopped, her face falling back into that same scowl she typically wore.

"why'd you stop." jungkook asked. "i want to hear the rest of the story." it was the most emotion he's seen in her ever, considering it wasn't something filled with attitude or sass.

"i'm not telling you anything more about her." was her simple response.

jungkook hummed, setting the menu down. "how do i get in contact with your mother." he asked. eli sipped on her juice and didn't seem to be in a rush to answer the man.
