"How are you mga apo?" The old man asked.

Halata sa kanya na magandang lalake sya in his days. Even if he has wrinkles, white hairs, and all, he still has this intimidating aura. It's like screaming na 'Dont mess with me.'

Nag-run naman yung dalawa sa kanya.

I don't get it! They call him uncle pero call ni lolo sa kanila apo?

"Uncle, we're okay of course, gwapo pa rin naman."
Sabi ng walangyang JB habang tinataas-taas pa yung eyebrows.

"Ang yabang mo pa rin Justin."
sabi nung old man sabay tawa.

I was there, still looking at them, at the same time, naiinis rin because they are not introducing me to their so called Uncle.

Not until, lolo, tingin to me, with a confused and curious expression. May sinabi si Lolo kay na JB and then they both push the wheelchair towards me.

He's not nakangiti, hindi rin mad Yung facial expression nya, he's just serious and it's making me more nervous.

Ha! oh my god!

"Who is this lady?" He tanong to them without taking his eyes off me.

"Ughm, Uncle, she's an accomplice, she's not dangerous. You know?" Mikko answered.

Hindi daw dangerous, wow, big word.
Note the sarcasm.

"Please introduce yourself young lady, Lawrence and Justin, please go to the dining area and cook something that will stop my hunger." Sabi nya. He has this voice saying 'there's no room for a no, apos'.

They immediately obliged like a loyal dog, tsk, hindi nako nagiging conyo. It means I'm tensed na.

The man in front of me sighed, he looked at me tsaka nag-smile. Shocking me.

"Sorry, did I scare you?"

"Yes, uh... I mean no, yes, ugh-" He cut me off by laughing.

"I'm sorry ha? Let's sit there at the couch, and let's talk about yourself."
He sabi. He push a button to his wheelchair papuntang sofa.

I mimicked what he did, naupo na rin ako sa pangisahang sofa, trying to make myself comfortable. He gets the remote and turn off the TV.

"Well? What's your name lady?" he asked. He's still smiling pa naman and it's creeping me out. Kahit na mukhang trustworthy naman sya. I still can't fully trust him because I believe at the saying goes, 'Don't be deceived by the deceiver. ' and 'Dont judge the book by it's cover.'

Naramdaman siguro ni Lolo na tensed ako Kaya natawa sya. "Hey, chill, I'm not gonna eat you whole, I'm not a cannibal, duh?" And he just give me a maldita look.

Oh my God? He's not that intimidating rin pala, it's just maybe he's facial's feature, rugged, but actually, he's nice.

"Good evening, I'm Gaile Velasquez, a doctor, and I am friends with JB and Mikko." I said to him.

"Oh yeah? I'm Simoun Guerrero, by the way, please be comfortable in my simple abode." Sabi nya.

Well, this bahay is really simple Lang talaga, and I can't wait to have a house like this, I'll suggest this na lang to my future husband, whoever he is.

"Well, I'm glad I'm welcome here po, we're actually here for a reason kasi."
It's a miracle that I became so magalang to strangers ha, since, I'm not that respectful pa naman.

"Oh. Is that it?" Sabi nya na confused na confused. "Care to tell me what is it?"

"Well," I lean my back to the sofa. "I asked your apo's if they alam a detective. You know. I was fascinated by codes kasi po." Alam kong nag-lalie na ako, but I still look at his eyes straight. "And then, I started to research about codes, but Mr. Google can't explain it to me that much. So I'm actually nagtatanong sayo po if you can turo me po, kahit kaunti lang, especially, the keyboard codes."

Mukha naman syang amused na amused so maybe he buy my tricks.

He clucked his tongue. "Okay, since I'm amazing, I'll teach you."

"You're so humble naman po pala, hehe." I said.

Natawa lang sya at nag-ask ulit.

"What is this for?" Sya.

"Ugh, as what I said po, I am amazed by it. I am even planning to befriend detectives like you po. My respect to them is so malaki." I ngiti.

Well, this is half-lie, half-true.

"Ah, well, thanks, I know I'm smart, but you're making me blush, hmm, want an autograph?" Sabi nya.

Napangiwi na Lang me kasi the person I thought na strict,is so mayabang pala.

"Anyways, sleep here, I have lots of guest rooms in my house. Let's talk tomorrow since I'm really tired." He said and was about to walk away when I stop him.

"Wait, pano po yung food nyo?" Tanong ko.

"Oh, right, I forgot about it, ughm. Just tell my boys, Justin and Lawrence to bring my food downstairs where my room is located. Well, good night young lady. Enjoy your stay." He said and nagwalk-out na.

After a minute, I'm super nabobored na and they still haven't give me my dinner. What's with them ba?

So I sigaw na. "Hey, guys? Anong niluluto nyo? Para ba sa buong Philippines? Ang tagal naman nyan ah! Nakaka-irritate?" Reklamo ko.

Pero no one answered, nagtataka naman akong tumayo at pumunta sa may kusina. "What the heck." I uttered as I stared at the empty kitchen with an unfinished business.

I buntong-hininga. "Nasan naman kaya ang mga jerks na yon? I'm so hungry na and they didn't bother calling me huh? Shit lang!"

Nagdadabog akong nag-walk at nagluto ng food. I came up with my specialty, spaghetti with itallian sauce and fresh tomato juices with parmesan cheese, and parsley on top of it. I paired it with Air fried chicken with a gravey I made by myself. Naglagay na din ako ng pineapple juice na na-see ko sa fridge.

"This is so yum! Oh My God, naglalaway na ako!" I said. Nilinisan ko muna Yung lababo then I clean the lamesa too.

I started eating na nang dumating sina Mikko tsaka JB na naghihingalo, well maybe they ran. Dala din nila yung mga baggages na is totally forgotten.

I tingin to them and nagtaas ng kilay, "What happened?" I tanong to them.
Binaba na muna nila sa sahig ang dala nila.

"We have a problem, Gaile." Si Mikko.
He sat infront of me.

Kinabahan agad ako.

"Anong problema?"

"When I was about to cook, nagyaya si insan,na kuhanin ang mga.gamit natin sa compartment since we forgot about it," Sabi ni JB, saka uminom sa juice ko at umupo sa katabi ng cousin nya. I wanted to scold him for drinking my ginawang juice, pero, maybe later."I agreed to since, marami at mabibigat ang dala natin. We also checked some parts of the car for safety driving but then we fount out na paubos na ang gas."

Ahh, so what's the problem? Diba nagdala naman sila ng gas?.

"Oh? We have another tank right? We brought some." I said to them.

"Yun nga, ubos na ang lahat ng dala natin at wala pa naman extrang kotse si Uncle. Mapipilitan tayong maglakad hanggang exit ng gubat."

Napatayo ako sa sobrang shocked!"What in the world?! Are you effing kidding me?! I don't want to walk alright! A.Yo.Ko.!" I shouted at umalis na dun.

Gosh? Me? Walking? Meh, I'd rather die here na lang than that.
