Koi 6! "Strange" (Continuation of "Club Activity")

Things had been really strange since I enrolled at this school and joined this club. I'm almost a week here but many things had already happened.

Girls are chasing me every-time they see me. Which is not unusual to me. But this one particular girl really hates me and I can see it in her eyes. Miki Honoka.

Actually, she's kinda cute and pretty but her attitude is the opposite of it. How can I describe her?

She's very annoying when she talks to me. Is a PhD (get it? Doctor of PHILOSOPHY.) Sarcastic. Sleeps in class.

Positive

Quiet when not talking to me.
Loves books and it's obvious that she loves Hyouka (I love that novel too, to be honest).
Good friend and president of the club?
Smart. Jolly.

That's what I describe her. And now I remember that I'm still playing Hide and Seek with those feebleminded members. But I'll make Eru Chitanda an exception. She is smart, pretty, and humble. Not like........ Never mind.

I went to the classroom of class 3-B and told them that if they saw Shirota and asks them if I'm here, they should tell him that I'm not here.
I just hid behind the cabinet at the classroom and I'm correct that Shirota will come and ask his classmates if they had seen us. And when he already got away, I went out and saw someone sitting at the far corner of the classroom. A girl with light brown hair and has glasses and is wearing a little bit of make up. She's kinda familiar to me.

I was just about to go near her when the school bell rang. Class is already dismissed. So I just went back to the clubroom and saw Yui, Eru and Shirota. I wondered where is Suimin-jū so I asked them where she is.

"Where is Honoka-san?"

"She texted me that she's walking already to her home." - Yui

"Souka."
(I see.)

I just grabbed my bag that is placed on top of the table and went out of the clubroom.
Tomorrows Saturday and I have a tennis practice since the competition is on Monday.

I went out of the school gates already and turned to the right since it's the way to my home. While I was walking and reading a book, I heard some thing.

"Hey there Hasegawa! You walking home?"

"W-who are you?!"

"Takuma Morita. Come with me first!"

"No! Let go of me! I don't even know you!"

I quickly went to the place where I heard that noise. When I got there, the boy was already trying to kiss the girl but the girl doesn't want to. She is struggling to push the guy away.

"Yamete! Onegaishimasu! Yamete!" - Brunette-haired girl
(Stop! Please! Stop!)

I went near them and pushed the guy away from the girl.

"I think you should run before I could do more to you. And owe this girl an apology!" - me

"H-hai! Gomenasai Hasegawa-san! Gomenasai!"

The guy looked really afraid and ran away from us. I looked at the girl and I saw that she was really frightened and shocked. She suddenly said, "Arigato. (Then she bowed.) Arigato!"

I smiled.

"Doi itashi mashite."
(You're welcome.)

The girl stood up straight and fixed herself. Wait. Her eyes kinda look familiar. But the girl has green eyes. Somethings strange.

Have I seen her before? Maybe. 'Cause she's wearing our school uniform. Maybe I just don't notice her. But I think I know her.

"D-do I know you? Have we met before?" , I asked.

"N-no! This is actually the first time. Anyway, I need to go now."

She started to run but I asked her one last question.

"Can you tell me your name?"

She faced me and smiled and said," Hasegawa Mariko. Hajimemashite!"

Then she ran away. Her smile and eyes are really familiar to me. I started to walk again and thought that I'll just ask the students tomorrow if they know her. And I know she's the girl I've seen at the Class 3-B. That's kinda strange. Who is she?

(Hello everyone.) I'm really sorry that I haven't updated for a very long time. It's because I needed to focus on my studies and my okasan (mother) forbid me to use the WiFi and gadgets during weekdays. So here I am updating this story! I might update two chapters.
