Chapter 3

"Please, I beg you, help me!" Ginjima bowed in front of the black haired girl.

"I prefer you teaching me over Kita-san"

"Can I atleast see your scores first? To know what you need help with" Eagerly, Ginjima took the test papers out of his bag.

"Atleast you passed the kanji and English"

"So do you agree? I'll do anything"

"Anything you say?" Hesitantly, Ginjima answered.

"Yes"

"Fine, I'll help you, in exchange, I want you to be my personal mailman to Akagi-senpai. Agree?"

"Seriously? Okay that's fine".

"You wont tell him anything about me, promise?"

"Yeah sure. So when can we start?"

"Tomorrow at the library. Is that fine? At break"

Arriving at the library the next day, Ginjima sat in the farthest back, still waiting for Asami to arrive.

"Sorry I'm a bit late, I ran into a trash"

"I won't ask anymore. So can we start now?"

"Yeah, but hey, this is my letter for the day. Don't worry, I won't ask you to give this everyday. Maybe once a week"

"Oh joy"

When afternoon practice came, Ginjima handed the letter once he saw him.

"Akagi-san, for you" Akagi was blushing at the thought of another letter for him.

"Is this the same person?"

"Yep. She still doesn't want to be known. She's really shy"

"I'll read it later when I get home then" He then hid the letter inside his bag, before getting ready.

"So, did you four found someone willing to teach you?" Coach Kurosu asked.

"No"

"No one is willing"

"Omimi-san" Suna said.

"It's unfair, teach us too, Omimi-san. I don't want to study with Kita-san" Atsumu whined.

"How 'bout you Gin?"

"Yeah, my friend from class 6"

"THAT'S REALLY UNFAIR! Would they help me too if I asked?"Atsumu said.

"She won't, she isn't tutoring me for free anyways"

"Maybe if you offer her a date, she will?" Came Suna's helpful reply.

"She won't. She isn't interested in Atsumu"

"So a deal's a deal huh. Nobody is willing to help the twins, so Kita will" Coach Oomi said.

"It's really unfair Gin. Kita-san is so cold"

"So Akagi, you got another letter again?" Aran asked, when they were walking home.

"Yeah"

"Do you have any idea who she is?"

"Nothing. All I know she is Gin's friend. I don't even know what year she is"

"Hey, atleast you received something. Some of our teammates are disappointed because the twins are hogging all the fans".

"Yeah, you're right"

*In Ginjima's house, after practice.

"In which year was the new constitution promulgated by which the Emperor of Japan lost his political power and became the Symbol of the State and Unity of the People?"

"Uhh, 1764?"

Asami stared at him with a deadpan expression.

"That's not even close to the answer. It's 1946"

"I give up. What the hell is with these dates anyway. It all happened in the past" Ginjima groaned, before throwing the book to the floor.

Picking up the book on the floor, Asami said. "Hey, it's ok. There's still a week before the real exams begin. We still have time. Try again"

"No. And it's getting late anyways. I'm walking you home"

Ginjima and Asami walked in a comfortable silence. Both just enjoying each other's company.

"So, you do know that Akagi-san has been asking about you alot? Even my teammates. Why don't you just confess in person? It will save me the hassle."

Even in the dark, Ginjima can still see the pink cheeks of his friend.

"Ehh, I want to, but I'm afraid of being rejected or something"

"Akagi-san isn't like that"

"I know, but ah, I'll let time pass before I do reveal myself. Probably at graduation"

Ginjima stopped walking. Asami followed what he did.

"You do know that he is a 3rd year right?"

"Yes. That's why I plan on graduation. Atleast it will save me the trouble if I get rejected" They both continued walking

"Ehh, whatever you fancy. Oh and here we are" Stopping again at the front of her house, Ginjima said.

"Thank you again for helping me. I know I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, so it must be a hassle"

"No problem. And thanks for walking me home"

After seeing her close the door, Ginjima walked back to his house.

*Meanwhile, in chat

Atsumu created the groupchat.

Atsumu added Miya Osamu and Suna Rintarou

Suna: What is this for?

Osamu: We already have a group chat, and you forgot Gin.

Atsumu: I didn't really added Gin. And this is about the new gossip in the club!

Suna: This is stupid. I'm leaving.

Atsumu: Wait. Aren't you two curious?

Osamu: about what?

Atsumu: The one giving Akagi-san the letters!! He received a second one from the same person already.

Suna: So? You two receive them always anyways.

Atsumu: But aren't you curious, Suna?

Suna: A bit actually. But that ain't our concern.

Atsumu: But I have a plan to catch her! And Akagi-san really want to know her. Maybe we can push the two of them to be together or something~

Osamu: Instead of making weird plans, why don't you study, so you could bring your grades up.

Atsumu: But 'Samuuu

Atsumu: You're literally in class 1

Osamu: ......I'll kill you.
