Staring at the previous letters and notes he received, Akagi tried to stop the blush forming at his cheeks. Before, he was a nobody. Nobody really paid attention to him, because the twins got it all. Now, there's somebody making an effort, for him. Not the twins, not Suna, not Aran, but him. His plain self. Thinking about it is a bit depressing, but atleast now, there's someone willing to make an effort, for him.

So onto the current dillema. How to respond without giving anything away?

The second years helped him, even in a questionable way. Aran helped him. And he can't just let the others do the work for him, he has to make a move to.

He can't just waltz in and say "Hey, I know you wrote the letters. Wanna be my girlfriend?" because that is too fast, and she might run away, from shock, shyness, or something else.

Asking one of the twins meant trouble. Suna will only give a shit advice. So all that's left is the third years.

Akagi tried thinking for plans that would probably work. Surprising her doesn't seem like good plan, and
leaving something in her desk everyday would spark rumours, as he is a third year. Third years don't randomly go to the second year's hallway and leave items at a desk.

He continued to try thinking some more, until he fell asleep.

*At practice, water break

The third years are chatting in a corner, while watching their kouhai (read: Atsumu) do something stupid. Upon noticing the usual bubbly Akagi silent, Aran gestured at the other two, and pointed at him. Akagi, still oblivious to the stare he's getting from the third years, are looking at the empty water bottle he's currently holding. The nearby people, noticing that the third years stopped talking, also looked at their direction, and saw Akagi staring animatedly at the water bottle. Aran tried grabbing his attention, but it did not work, so he settled into getting the water bottle out of his hand.

"Michinari, are you okay? You seemed really out of it" Kita asked, the other members tried to listen.

"Ahh, it's nothing Kita, it's just that I've been thinking"

"About what?" Aran asked.

"Well, you see, I was getting letters and notes before, and I don't know her at that time. So now that I actually saw her, I do want to respond in a way, but I can't think of anything that is plain creepy, annoying, or something that won't spark rumours" Akagi said.

Upon hearing the words "letters, notes and respond", Atsumu's ears perked.

"Oya? So you want to respond already, Akagi-san?"

"Well yeah, in a way that won't reveal anything"

"Do a Kabedon? I heard girls like that?" Came Atsumu's helpful response.

"Idiot. Haven't you heard him? He said something that won't reveal anything, so a Kabedon won't cut it. Use that brain of yours, or is it there for decoration?" Osamu said while looking annoyed.

"Maybe his brain is non-existent?" Suna added.

"Bold of you to assume he has a brain" Aran seconded.

"Stop trying to think Atsumu, you might hurt your head" Ginjima chimed.

With each word they said, it's like an invisible arrow stabbed right into Atsumu's heart.

"I only gave a suggestion. I did not ask for an insult Atsumu forum" Atsumu sulked.

"There there, senpai, it's fine" Riseki tried to console him, patting his back for additional comfort.

"We're getting off topic here guys" Omimi said.

"Well, why don't you just write back? Since Hitoshi is already giving her letters and notes to you, he can act as a mailman and give your letters to her" Kita said.

"Ohh that's actually a good idea" Aran said.

"You're so smart Kita-senpai" a random first year said

"Hey, it's another thing I have to endure" Ginjima protested, which no one actually paid attention.

"Hmm, it's would be fast, and you don't have to worry about anyone discovering, since Gin's in the club" Atsumu added. He's clearly enjoying Ginjima's suffering.

"Oi-" Ginjima tried to protest again, but got cut off.

"It would be convenient" Suna said while holding his phone at Ginjima, not even bothering to hide the fact that he is recording.

Pretty much everyone looked at Ginjima, and of course, he became annoyed.

"Don't I have a say in this?" Ginjima questioned.

"Wow, Ginjima-san, don't you want to help Akagi-senpai?" A random first year asked.

"After all he's done for you, and you won't even help him?" Osamu said, adding fuel to the fire.

"Really Gin?" Atsumu taunted.

"What kind of Kouhai are you?" Somebody added.

More guilt trip shenanigans came from the clubroom, of course, Ginjima became more annoyed when another was added.

"FINE! I'LL DO IT!" Ginjima shouted. The twins looked accomplished, while Suna gave him a thumbs up, phone still recording shamelessly.

"You hear him, Michinari. He agreed. So now, could everyone please stop this and start going back to practice?" After hearing Kita's voice, everyone scrambled out of the way, and got back to practice, seemingly nothing had happened.

"You guys go ahead, I'm stopping here for a bit, I need to buy something" Akagi told Kita, Omimi, and Aran.

"Are you sure? We could wait for you" Aran offered.

"No, it's fine, and I'll probably be there for a while. I don't want to take your time"

"Well, if you insist, then please take care when you go home" Kita said.

Waving at them as a reply, Akagi entered the store.
