Chapter 8:
Kreachers Strange Behavior
Harrys P.O.V
I knew I was going to miss him, but the thought that this wasnt goodbye would get me through it."Yeah, your righ-"
I was interuppted once again by a loud crack. I whipped around, "What is it now, Kreacher?!" Kreacher ignored me and looked around. "Sorry sir, but this is the Malfoy Manor, correct?"
"Yeah, so?" I replied. Kreacher met my gaze, and instead of his usual annoyed and empty expression, I saw excitment and curiosity in his eyes.
"Is Narcissa Malfoy home?!"
Shocked by his change of behavior, I nodded. Kreacher jumped joyfully in the air. It was the first time I had ever seen him happy, and couldnt help but be a bit glad. "May I see her , please, Master Potter? Please?"
Kreacher never says please. And he is actually happy for once, not being an insufferable jerk. This must be really important to him.
"I suppose so..." I agreed. "but first go tell Dumbledore that Im going to take awhile. This is sure to be intresting."
Kreacher dissapeared with another crack, and I turned to Draco once more. "Looks like Im staying a little longer." Draco grinned, "Fine by me. And who was that house elf anyway?"
"Oh, Kreacher? He was Sirius' mothers house elf, when she died he became kreachers master, and now Im his master. He stays at Sirius', well, my house. Hes also usually rude, spitting nonesense about purebloods and how his old mistress would be disgusted to see who was in her home. You wouldnt believe it by how hes acting now, but its true. This is the first time Ive ever seen him in a good mood."
Draco nodded, processing this information."Why does he want to see my mother anyway?" He asked, and I shrugged. "Dunno. Im as clueless as you are. I dont really know much about him ."
Draco opened his mouth to say something, but was interuppted by the crack of Kreachers return.
"What you asked was done, master." Kreacher said humbly. I turned back to Draco, "Well, lead the way."
