Chapter 8: For Eternity

First of all, 483 words. Second of all, there was actually a different version of this chapter but because I kinda lost the motivation to continue, Im deleting it and ending here. So yeah third of all this is the last chapter, I hope you guys liked it.

Chapter 8:For Eternity

Harrys P.O.V.

It had been three years since I defeated voldemort. Three years since me and Draco got together. And those were the best three years of my life.

The war left marks on us all, and we still mourned those we lost, but we also celebrated what weve accomplished.

And now here I was in an empty feild, racing the love of my life as we chased a golden snitch. "Cmon love, you were never this slow when we were in school!" Draco called.

I looked up to find him smirking. "Atleast we arent against eachother this time." I replied with a grin. He rolled his eyes, and I saw the snitch behind him. I leaned forward and snatched it before Draco could even figure out what was going on.

Draco laughed, and swept down to the ground. I followed him and stepped off my broom. "Your in an awfully good mood today." I remarked as I walked torward him.

Draco shrugged. "Yeah well I have a good reason to be." I raised an eyebrow at him. "Patience, love. Youll know why soon enough."

I rolled my eyes, and threw the snitch in the air a few times. Draco kissed me unexpectedly and I looked at him with surprise. In my distraction he had grabbed the snitch and was now looking at m cheekily.

"Up for another game?" He asked.

I agreed and soon we were up in the air again. I  scannes the air for the snitch, and soon caught sight of it. I raced after it, and Draco followed close behind me.

Soon we were sife by side, both going as fast as possible. "You always look sexy when racing me." Draco whispered, giving me a smide look. Flustered, I slowed down, just enough for him to catch it.

I opened my mouth to accuse him of cheating, but Draco was already swooping down to the ground.

Curious to why he was acting so strange, I followed him. He watched me step off my broom with a small smile and waited for me to approach him.

I walked torwards him, and my breath hitched as he went down on one knee, holding the snitch with both hands.

"Harry James Potter," He began, his eyes full of emotion. "It has been three years since I tealized I couldnt live without you, " The snitch opened up to reveal a silver ring embroided with diamonds. "And I never want to leave your side. So, now I ask, will you marry me?"

I kissed him, and his warm, perfect lips moved against mine for a moment before pulling away. "I take that as a yes?"

"Yes. Yes a thousand times over. Yes, Draco Lucius Malfoy, Ill marry you." He smiled widely and kissed me again, and I knew there was nothing I wanted more than to have this man by my side, for all of eternity.
