I hoped off the bus with my suit cases and backpack to find my auntie and uncle waiting for me.I gave them a hug."Auntie,Uncle, I've missed you"I told them."meh meh meh mehhh"."We missed you too y/n"they said as they took your suitcases.Once we arrived at their home we saw a blue cat and an orange fish digging through the trash.Uncle just dragged me into the house and into my new room."this is your room y/n,you can set up your stuff while we prepare dinner."Uncle said
~2 hours later~
"Y/N TIME FOR DINNER!" Uncle called for me.
I rushed down stairs and sat at the table. Uncle brought the food out to the dining room. I thanked him for the food and then we dug in. I had cleared most of my plate when-
"Meh meh meh me meh." Auntie snickered.
I swallowed the food in my mouth and gave a sheepish smile.
'I didn't even realize I was this hungry'
I started eating again, only this time I ate slowly instead of scarfing it down. After finishing the meal in silence, we took our dishes to the sink. Auntie had dish washing duty tonight. I offered to help but she insisted on doing it herself, so I wished her goodnight and then went to find uncle.
He was watching some random sitcom on TV. I gave him a quick hug and told him goodnight. I went up to my room and changed into some pj's. I turned off the light and ended up tripping on an empty box which sent me crashing into my bed. Despite the harsh landing [and new pain in my leg], I still fell asleep quickly.
