The two ran to the jungle, Mowgli looks at Bagheera, "Bagheera! Where are we goin'?" He repeats himself with anger, "You're going back to the man village right now." Mowgli responded, "I'm not going." Bagheera turns to Mowgli, "Oh, yes, you are!"

Mowgli then goes to a tree to hold and says, "I'm staying right here!" Bagheera is getting more angry. "You're going if I have to drag you every step of the way." Bagheera gets upset and tries to pull Mowgli off the tree and the two started to argue. "Let go, you..."

"You let go of me!" Mowgli shouts back. Bagheera then falls into the water, he gets out of the water very angry, "Oh, that does it. I've had it, man cub! From now on, you're on your own alone!"

"Don't worry about me." Mowgli turns away and walks all alone in the jungle. As for Shere Khan and Y/n, they decided to take a break to the river for some water. Shere Khan drinks while y/n decides to look at her reflection, she softly smiles and looks at Shere Khan.

Shere Khan turns to her, "Someone is happy today." Y/n nods, "Yup, it's so soothing to be in the jungle. I honestly never want to leave." He smiles, "I see you really enjoy being here." She then looks behind her, "But it doesn't mean I can wonder off on my own huh..."

"Well the jungle is a dangerous for someone like you and I thought we've talked about this Y/n. I don't want anything to happen to if I'm not there." Y/n gets up, "But you taught me so much, I want to prove to you that I can be fine on my own."

He sighs, Y/n pleads, "Please Shere Khan, I want to prove to you that I'll be fine on my own, how can I do it if you won't let me go alone." Shere Khan gives in, "Alright Y/n, I'll let you go on your own. Just stay away from the Ancient ruins, those monkeys are nothing but trouble."

"I will." Y/n then runs off to explore and to have a bit of fun, "With all the training Shere Khan taught me, I should be fine. I can prove to him that I can handle it on my own." She decides to climb a tree and swing on the vines.

The breeze hitting her face makes her smile, she decides to land on a tree branch and admire the view, "Wow.....The jungle looks so beautiful. Who would want to ever leave this place." She takes a deep breath and let's it out.

Suddenly she heard soft ruffles coming out of the bushes, she hides away in the tree to not be seen. She spots a boy wondering the jungle, he grabs a stick and swings it around.

"What does Bagheera know about me, I can survive the jungle on my own. I'll show him." He then sits down besides a rock and sighs, Y/n slowly tries to get closer, but the branch snaps making her fall on the ground.

"Ack!" She groans and rubs her sides, "Who are you?!" She looks at Mowgli terrified, then then picks up a stick, "Stay back! I ain't afraid of you." She was lying of corse but refused to show, who was he.

"As if, I ain't afraid of you either." They just both stared at each other, not saying a word for a while. Mowgli asked, "Are you from the man village?" Y/n shakes her head no, "I'm not from the man village, I live here in the jungle."

"I've never seen you around here before." Y/n tosses the stick away, "Neither have I, I didn't think anyone else would be here." Y/n gets closer and circles Mowgli, he slowly looks at her, "It's kinda nice to know that I'm not the only one here."

She tilts her head, "What makes you say that?" He shrugs, "Because I can prove Bagheera that I'll be fine on my own. He thinks I won't survive." Y/n stops circling, "Odd, guess it's explains why you are by yourself."

Mowgli and Y/n sat down on the grass, Mowgli sits next to her, "What's your name?" She looks at him and softly smiles, "My name is Y/n, and your name is?" He smiles back, "Mowgli." They both looked around, Y/n gets up, "It was nice meeting you Mowgli, guess I'll let you be."

"Wait." He stops her, "Why don't you stay here with me." She was slightly confused, "W-What do you mean?" He looks down, "I know that I've been told that the jungle is a dangerous place, but I think it's best if we stick together. That way we can protect each other."

Y/n looks at Mowgli and starts to feel slightly different, her cheeks feel warm and her stomach all fluttery. She sits down next to him, "Ok then, I'll stay." They both smiled and decided to take a little nap.
