Captured

someone's alive??

I skid across the rails that look like they have been lead off from the death egg. "The death egg huh, the dr sure builds them faster and faster heh" I say as I continue to skid across it down into the space port. I ran, but slowly as my body aches any more "Right I'm in the space port, uh I guess I should just find a shuttle, it must be around here somewhere?" I said to my self painfully as the pain was started to kill me. I ran until I saw robots ahead surrounding a...a.......a civilian!? My heart leapt as I saw someone, an actual living organic person, I was so happy tears ran down my cheeks as I ran towards them spindashing the egg pawns on the way, I took out my hand, I began to talk but I was loosing my words "e h-h-hey....t-there everything's cool!" I said in a low tone failing the attempt to look like the way I used to Back in the day, I looked at them and noticed the shock in their eyes, what did I do? Did I do something wrong? I was starting to get anxious as bad thoughts enter my head as I bit my lip. "S-soni~" I stopped him as I grabbed him and ran straight to the shuttle but slower "s-sorry buddy but we need to get out here" I said with my voice trembling as I turned on the auto pilot and we flew off in the space ship.

I stood there staring at the teen shocked, I just couldn't believe that someone came in actually to rescue me, which means.... the resistance! It's alive, my heart leapt as I smiled hard, i wanted to say something to him but he seemed to be shy, i reached my hand but stopped my self. How am I going to talk to him? I need answears, I nervously and limped away to give him some space, sitting down somewhere across the room with anxiety filling me with all the pain just hitting all of my body, i shivered just thinking about what Eggman has done with me along side infinite and the others. I let out some tears before pinching my self to stop since I didn't want to look stupid infront if someone thst probably looked after me... I felt a small tap on my shoulder "um sorry for the way i acted" he said nervously, I looked up at him and smiled "hey, it's okay" I replied as I looked back onto the ground "W-what did they do to you? I don't want to sound cruel or mean but... you look awful" he said questionangly with a shaky voice. I started at the ground I didn't want to reply, I shook my head and stood up leaning on the wall near me, I felt him watching me wanting to know what happened. I let out a sigh "I-i failed everyone... I'm sorry I really i am I failed you I failed everyone, your fammily probably died just because I made jokes and laughed at this mr badly McNose hair. None of this would of happened I never got captured in the first place. With them it was the worst experience of my life... I got tortured brutally, I wasn't given food or water. It was terrible I didn't sleep for all the time I was in there, I started hallucinating.... a old friend that died because of Eggman.... I saw his death right in front of my eyes" I say croakaly as I start to cry silently so he dosent notice.

I felt him still glancing on me then walking up, putting his hand gently on shoulder.

"What ever Eggman did to you it dosent look good, but hey atleast your alive and got threw this sonic! This shows that your a true warrior, a warrior that never gives up and fights till his last stand." He says smiling at me.

he felt so similar, such similarities to a my good old pal Alister, I didn't want to think about it, I just couldn't, first time I failed to save someone's life I hated this feeling, I felt him pick me up and place me on my feet, I held the nearest thing to me so I don't fall from the weakness and pain I am in, it still burned, I wanted to yell but I didn't want to scare the kid nor look more pathetic.

"Cheer up sonic! We are nearly home, don't you worry about the landing... I will help you" he says happily with eyes beating with joy looking at me.

Huh this kid really enjoys his life, a true potential of a hero. Hope this kid grows up to be something big I thought to my self as I watched him set the ship into landing.
