Double Dipper

Dipper sat with a helium tank between his legs. He would fill a balloon, watch it float to the ceiling, then start on the next one. He was grateful most of the difficult work went to Soos yet annoyed he couldn't just chill on the couch with Mabel and Wendy. He watched them spray each other with silly string while pretending to vomit. He looked down at another balloon, and let it float away.

"That's enough balloons kid." Stan said from behind.

"Great. Did you want anymore slave labor from me or can I go now."

Stan frowned. "Well I was going to let you go, but since you want to be a disrespectful jackass you can print me some more fliers."

"Are you serious?"

"No I'm not serious, I was gonna have you print more no matter what you said. Ha!"

Dipper shot daggers at his great uncle. "The party's tonight why would you just now be printing fliers?"

Stan thought for a moment. "Ya see, if you raised good points like this sooner I wouldn't be making you do all the work. There's an old copy machine upstairs, come back when your done."

Dipper started for the stairway but Mabel ran in front of him, soda spilling over the sides of her cup. "Dipper wait!"

"What?"

She looked at him intensely before spraying him with silly string and making fake vomit noises. He laughed as he tried to cover his face. "Ok ok you got me!"

"Damn right I did! Alpha twin! Alpha twin!"

"Yeah yeah. Wanna come print these with me?"

Mabel shrugged. "Sure. Me and Wendy are pretty much outta silly string at this point."

Dipper sighed. "Must be nice not having to do any work."

"Stan just gives you the work because he knows you can handle it. With those big boxer arms." She pretended to grab large muscles in the air.

"I don't get Stan. It's like he's only happy when I'm doing some physically demanding task or I'm working."

"Hey look on the bright side, at least we get to spend the night at the party."

Dipper's face softened. "Yeah your right."

"Sooooo you gonna ask Wendy to dance?" Mabel nudged his shoulder.

"Don't be weird it's not like that."

"Oh my god you are such a liar! Just the other day when we went to the abandon building with her friends you couldn't keep your eyes off of her."

"I told you I was looking out for her because that building was haunted."

Mabel rolled her eyes. "You were looking out for her because You were scared she'd be going home with Robbie instead of you."

The twins entered the room with the copy machine. Dipper could feel the blood in his face and avoided eye contact with his sister.

"Its not that big a deal just ask her to dance." She continued. "You could tell her about your scar. Scars are hot."
