"Kylie, you know the rules. No parties, or going out of the neighborhood. Keep the house clean, and no boys over." Now why would I even want to invite boys. "By going out of the neighborhood, do you mean by not going out of the borough of Brooklyn, or-" "I mean by not going out of Greenpoint. In fact, the farthest you can go is the pizzeria" my father interrupted. "Okay" I responded. "Be safe, and don't go out the house after 9, don't even order food after 9. People get crazy at night." My father continued. He was acting like I've never stayed home alone before. "Yeah, I know dad" I told him "Be safe gorgeous" my mom told me. Oh jeez, I, Kylie Ross, is not a "gorgeous" girl. I waved goodbye, and locked the door. The floor creeks as I walk towards the couch to grab my phone, and call "The Bestie". "Hailey, my parents left. Ready to have the scary movie marathon?" I asked her. "I was born ready" she responded. We both giggled. Minutes later I got the popcorn ready, and a knock on the front door echoed through the kitchen.
