I wake up to the sun shining through the cracks in my window and the smell of coffee in my bedroom. I roll over on the the hardwood floor and find Coal not by my side. I immediately sit up to find Coal going through my drawers.
"Having fun there?" I ask.
"You girls sure do own odd things." Coal mumbles while throwing one of my pink bras with monkeys at me. I kick him in the back of the leg only to get a tackle in return.

I curl up into ball and yell," get off of me you big fatty!"
"Well not when you talk to me like that!" Coal says in a funny accent. I groan and roll around while Coal is still on top of me.
"What's the magic word?" Coal laughs while pinning my arms to the ground.
"I hate you." I glare at him playfully.
"WRONG!" He yells. Coal then starts to tickle me uncontrollably. Laughter escapes from my mouth while I wiggle around the floor awkwardly. I scream and holler from the continuous tickles. "Stop it!" I gasp.
"What's the magic word?" Coal asks again. I don't say anything.
"Oh well. you asked for it." Coal sighs continuing to tickle me.
"PLEASE! PLEASE, COAL, PLEASE!" I scream.
"Now was that so hard?" Coal asks flicking me in the head. I roll my eyes at him and take a sip of the coffee next to him.

"It's me! Your beaut--- AHHH!" A voice screams outside my window. I rush to my window to find my friend Dahlia laying in puddle of mud. I laugh uncontrollably and collapse onto the floor.
"Umm.... I was trying to climb up your window... but I fell." She says innocently.
"Get up here and I'll give you some clothes." I laugh. I sit down on my bed next to Coal while Dahlia climbs up.
About half way inside my window Dahlia's eyes grow to the size of frying pans,"E-E-Ember?"
"Yes?" I question.
"W-why is there a shirtless ma-man in your room?" She asks nervously.
"Pftt! This. This is no man. This is only a 16 year old butt face." I say punching him in the shoulder. Coal smirks.

"He's cute." Dahlia winks at Coal jokingly.
"Eww! He's my bestfriend!" I whine.
Coal, getting the hint to annoy me plays along."So are you, hot stuff."
"Coal! She's my bestfriend!" I say slapping him on the chest.
Coal laughs," Did it hurt, when you fell from Heaven?"
"No, but it did hurt when I fell from the window." Dahlia shrugs. We all laugh at Dahlia's innocence. I through some of my clothes at Dahlia and she leaves to change.

"You know I don't really like her, right?" Coal asks.
"I know, and she has a boyfriend anyway." I answer.
"Oh ok."
"Your hairs a mess." I laugh.
"So is yours!" He flicks me.
"Braid my hair and I'll do your hair!" I squeal.
"But I can do my ow-" he starts.
"Braid. My. Hair!" I demand.
Coal sighs,"fine."

Once Coal finishes braiding my hair I start on his. I grab a wet towel and wring it out on his head.
"Ember!" Coal snaps.
"SHHHH!!" I smack his face. Coal groans and I continue working. I smooth his hair out and then spike it up into one tip. I then wrap a pony tail around his hair and squeal,"done!"
"Oh gosh, what did you do?" Coal asks regretfully walking towards my mirror.
"No!" He states.
"Keep it in!" I shout.
"No." he says folding his arms over his bare chest.
"Yes! I'm the princess and I demand you to keep it in!" I state proudly while putting my hands on my hips.
"Ugh, fine." he groans.
"Yeah!" I say happily while clapping my hands."

Dahlia walks into my room wearing my clothes and starts laughing, pointing at Coal's hair. Coal looks at me,"yeah, no!"
I point my finger at him and squint my eyes," you better mister or else..."
"Or else what?" Coal laughs.
"Or else imma tell your daddy!" I say in a funky accent.
"Oh no, I can't let you do that." he cracks his knuckles while smiling devilishly at me.
"Uh oh." I gulp.

Next thing I know Coal runs up to me and pins me on my bed.
"Eek!!" I scream playfully. Coal laughs and starts blowing raspberries on my stomach. I giggle and flail my limbs in the air wildly.
"I swear you two are five year olds inside teenage bodies." Dahlia laughs,"are you two dating or something?" Coal and I both turn to Dahlia, horrified.
"Ewww, no!" I squeal.
"Hey, I'm not that bad!" Coal nudges my side. I roll my eyes and laugh.
"But no, we're just bestfriends." Coal finishes. My very bestfriend.
