Uchiha Sasuke has never asked anyone for help. Not even to his own mother.
He grew up believing that the only way that his father would finally get to acknowledge him would be when he accomplished something without the help of anyone. He did use to ask his older brother when he was young, but it was just little things like catching fireflies during summer or sleeping in his warm futon during winter. But as Sasuke grew up, he begun to do things solely on his own, without anyone's help.
So it was a surprise, even to Sasuke himself, when he suddenly blurted out those words.
"Help me with practice," he said to Sakura whose surprise slowly registered on her face as she blink a few times.
"How exactly should I help you, Sasuke-kun?" Sakura asked slowly, putting her bag on the side as she walked towards Sasuke.
"Stand over there," Sasuke said. "Once the ball bounced on the court, get it and throw them back to me."
Sakura bit back a retort and fought the urge to roll her eyes. Sasuke just flat-out told her to be a ball boy, well in her case, a ball girl. Soulmate or not, this is a bit irritating. But Sakura has to remind herself that she's a manager, she has to do everything in her capabilities to help every players.
