I made it to my bedroom. I was so slick that I bet that nobody could hear my foot steps. I think I would do a great job of being a theif. But no I don't steal and I'm a chicken to do it too. I was safe in my bedroom and that's what I was shooting for in the beginning. I threw my backpack inside my closet. So then I won't see it because then it leads me to thinking of school. When I think of school, then I think of homework, and then o think of class, then then then. So thats why I just hide away from it everyday after school. I body slammed myself to my bed and just starred at my ceiling for a couple of minutes. I was just there thinking. Thinking of life and general. But mostly thinking of what just happened at the stoplight when I saw 'him'.
"Camila, come out of your room. Come say hi to your aunt. She really wanted to see . She wants to show you something ". My mother said to me on the other side of my bedroom door.
I basically began to play mouse. But unfortunately my phone beeped,also lighting up that I received a message.
"I know your in there Camila. Stop being stubborn and come greet your Aunt Elisa". My mother said in a more demanding voice.
I picked my self up from my bed to unlock my door to get out afterwards. I dragged myself to the living room to see my aunt and father sitting on the couch but my aunts back against me.
My father and her were in a conversation when my Dad introduced me. "Here she comes, Elisa"! With an awful huge smile place planted on his face. Thats when she turned around to look at me, with a humongous smile on her face. I saw it. The reason she wanted to see was to show she was pregnant. She always wanted a family yo her self, she finally got what she wanted. And its kind of surprising.
"I wonder who knocked you up", I said out of the blue. Aunt Elisa's smile began to fade away. Oh my apples did I just say that ! In my defence I did not mean to say it. I guess I was just thinking out loud.
I looked up to see my mother embarrassed probably because of what I accidentally said. As well as my father was embarrassed too. Then o saw her.my Aunt Elisa. Giving me a strange look. Not a look of anger but a look of hurt and of disappointment. Everything that just happened after I said my rude comment went fast.
That's when Aunt Elisa broke the ice and and whimpered "Excuse me, Camila that wasn't nice at all I didn't you -"
"No no no I'm sorry that was just what I was thinking and I just let out ion accident. I was thinking out loud. I didn't mean for it to slip out of my mouth". I cut her off. Now realizing how stupid I was because I just said that I thought that. Way to go Camila. She looked at her wrist but she had no watch on. I was going to tell her but I wasn't the right time too. "It looks like its time for me to go now. Thanks for the lunch". Aunt Elisa said already getting ready to leave.
"Elisa, we really do apologize for Camila rude remarks. But if you must go I guess we will see you next time. I'm really really sorry. She didnt mean it." Mother said to Aunt Elisa. At this point I didn't know what to do or say. I just stood there looking down at my shoes not even trying to do anything.
Aunt Elisa was already walking towards the door. And my parents and I following her out. Before she got out the door she gave a goodbye kiss to my mother and a goodbye hug to my father. But nothing to me not even a wave. Yes I do undertstand that I messed up but I still think I deserve a good bye notice. That was rude of her.
I walked to my room before my parents could tell me any thing and give me a long speech of 'what I said was rude and I should be ashamed of myself.' I walked inside my room and made sure to lock the door. I went to go lay on my bed once again and saw my phone at my bedside table. I grabbed it reminding myself that I received a message that blew my cover in the first place. Probably it was Nathan, I opened the message that read this:
'I know you want me, Camila'
My eyes were wide open as well as my mouth. Who the hell is this ?
