part 20

Its now 6:00 a.m. gabby just got up for work. She took her bag in the bathroom and 15 minutes later she came out with a cute dress on and light makeup and half her hair pulled back.

G: oh good morning i didn't even notice you were awake.

A: well i would get up but im kinda trapped.

G: would you like some help.

A: yes please.

Gabby helped me get out of ag tight grasp around my waist and woke up mia so she could go home. Mia got up and got freshened up in the bathroom i ordered them milkshakes. They got there milkshakes and gave me hugs mia thanked me for lying for her last night about ag pushing her off too. They left and i sat in the chair next to my bed waiting for the doc to come in and do my i.v. i scrolled threw instagram for a while before i realised laila isn't here and she hasn't been sense last night when me and mia were awake.

I called laila ten times and didn't get one answer they all went straight to voicemail. I called mia and she answered right away.

A: hey am i on speaker?

M: no what's up

A: when you were up last night did you see laila?

M: um who is laila?

A: she was sitting in the chair in the corner near the door she drought me to my c.a.t. scan and helped me walk around.

M: oh her i was wondering who that was um she went to the bathroom and was in there for like 30 minutes after you fell asleep she came out after tho she must have left after we all fell asleep.

A: ok thank you so much.

M: what happened to her?

A: i just realized she wasn't here and all her calls are going straight to voicemail but now i know when she left so thanks.

M: ok im glad i could help.

I hung up as one of the natalie came in to give me medicine?

A: why are you giving me medicine?

N: well i have some very good news and some bad news.

A: good news first.

N: well your body has been reacting so good to the meds that you get to go home and your favourite doctor gets to come check on you every other day. Bad news is you will not be able to back to school till next month and well its only the 9th so that is almost a full month you have to stay home.

A: but i get to go home?

N: yes your mom cant make it tho so im hoping your car is still here so one of your friends can drive you.

A: yep its in the lot and she can drive me.

N: ok you have pills five one for nausea which will also help with your dizziness and the other four are for your body and helping you get better you still have to come in every friday morning for chemo and if you feel anything out if the ordinary text or call me or you mom.

Ag: whats going on?

A: you get to be my lovely servant and drive me home!

Ag: you get to go home?

A: yes and you get to go to school.

Ag: ughhh do i have to.

A: actually you can stay home one more day cause no one is at my house so you get to take care if me too.

Ag: alright well lets get all your stuff together.

We packed all mine and Luna's stuff and made it to my house, I made some waffles and eggs for me and ag i gave luna some eggs too. After a while of talking at the table over our food we went up stairs ag took a nap and i took my pills.

I didn't feel nauseous at all so i decided to go explore more of the house cause last time i only did the left side of the second floor i already knew everything on the first floor. I decided to just go up to the third floor cause i realised i have only been up there one time on accident because I pushed the wrong button on the elevator I have never actually walked up there.

When I got up there it was mostly open space just one big room but there are four other doors and a pull-down thing for an attic. There were two doors on the left and two doors on the right so I went to the left first. The first rule was just empty. The second room was mostly storage just a bunch of boxes.

I went to the right and there was a nother storage room and then the one in the front had a easel and a bunch of beautiful paintings on the walls. I looked at all of the painting's then i went out and pulled down the string hanging in the middle of the room.

I expected dust to fall down but none did. I pulled down the steps and climbed up. The attic was made into a room and the walls were a very pastel pink there was nothing else up there tho it was just a empty light pink room. I went back down and closed the attic i walked to the elevator and went back down to my room.

When i closed my door i tripped and it woke up ag she ran to me and helped me up.

Ag: are you ok?

A: yep im fine just tripped.

Ag: you tripped coming back in your room so where were you?

A: nosie much?

Ag: well i am supposed to be watching you and you went somewhere without anyone helping you walk around you could have fallen and hit your head so where did you go?

A: calm down geeze i just went to the library.

Ag: you guys have a library?! How big is this house?

A: pretty big. My mom should be home soon so you can leave whenever.

Ag: you trying to get rid of me?

A: no but i was at the hospital for a week and a half and you only talked to your family to say you weren't going to school.

Ag: oh yeah i will wait till your mom gets here then.

Ag: bye I'll be back tomorrow.

A: after school.

Ag: ugh fine.
