After my mind was finally cleared, I decided I should go ahead and get ready for dinner. It would take a lot of effort from me, since the Goddesses dressed so immaculately and presented themselves so beautifully. I did not want to look like the mortal I was.

I walked to the extravagant walk in closet and was amazed at what I saw. Beautiful gowns were lined up on one wall, and blouses, skirts, and jackets on the other. The was a floor to ceiling rack of many different types of shoes. After going through the many cabinets and drawers in the room, I found pants, undergarments, hats, and various types of very expensive jewelry.

Since I loved clothes so much, I was in absolute heaven and I never felt like leaving.

When I arrived in Zeus's throne room, the Goddesses were all wearing lavish gowns, so I figured that I should wear something like that. But what if they all changed to something simpler to eat in? I didn't want to show up either over dressed or under dressed. I decided that I should ask Aphrodite.

I followed the directions she gave me to her room and knocked twice on the door she said was hers. It was opened just a moment later by my mother and when she saw me, a smile graced her lovely face.

"What do you need, sweetheart?" she asked me.

"I wasn't sure what I should wear to dinner," I answered shyly.

"Oh! I'll help you. I just love doing this!" she said as she grabbed my hand and led us back to my room and into my closet. She approached the dresses with a thoughtful look. She studied them then turned her head back to me and looked at me from head to toe. Uncomfortable from her staring, I looked around me at all the beautiful garments.

Not too long later, Aphrodite selected a dress and thrust it towards me.

"I think gold would look just lovely on you," she said and shooed me away to put the gown on.

I stepped out of the closet and shut the door behind me. I help up the gown and inspected it. It was a beautiful gold with gold and silver crystals spotted throughout. It had a deep neckline with very sheer material at the top that gave the illusion that there was nothing there. the selves were also sheer with more crystals dotted here and there. it was absolutely stunning and I did not think I could pull it off.

I struggled with outing it on and I found I could not button it up on my own. I walked back into the oversized closet and found my mother walking around browsing the clothes like a mortal would do at the mall. She turned around when she heard me come in and gasped. She quickly walked towards me with a glowing smile.

"You absolutely magnificent, my dear! I don't know how anyone could doubt you a goddess in this dress!" Aphrodite exclaimed as she turned me around and buttoned up the dress. She hastily turned me around and shoved me in front of the large floor to ceiling mirror that lay before us.

I could not believe that the girl staring back was me. I was transformed! I would never imagine I could wear anything like this. The dress was grand and beautiful, and in it, I actually felt the same for once. My face glowed and the gold in the dress brought out my tan skin and sea green eyes. I now felt comfortable enough to be among Gods.

"No jewelry today, but we must find you some shoes. You cannot walk around barefooted in Zeus's palace!" my mother said with a chuckle.

She walked towards the rack on the wall and browsed the high heels. She found a simple pair of shining gold heels and gave them to me to put on my feet. She then brought me out to my room and sat me on the bench in front of the vanity table. She opened numerous drawers and took out makeup and hair tools.

At the end of my makeover, I could not believe what I looked like. Aphrodite placed a minimal amount of makeup on my face that simply enhanced my features, and put my hair into a messy yet stylish up do. By the time my mother was done with me, it was time for us to leave for dinner at Zeus's palace.
