Fragments of memory flashed between Jacob's eyes. Memories of his father being in the court, put into jail and death. This might been his most awaited chance to give justice for his father. The hate and loathing that is present in his heart for the company intensified after hearing Alexander's proposition. Alex will help him get his desire if he will just let Elizabeth say yes to the secretarial offer. His mission must comes first and he already know what to do.

Elizabeth arrived in her loft with Vincent running to her the moment she opened the door. "Oh baby, I miss you too." She cooed the little man carrying it while tickling his sides. Vincent squealed gaining a chuckle from Mrs. Roberts. The little man's eyes were red from crying and she can't help but feel sad about her child.

"Elizabeth, I would like to invite you for a dinner. Please do come over my house, okay? I will cook something for you." the old woman waved goodbye and shut the door close. They had been doing this for a while now. Inviting dinner and breakfast together. In that way, they were able to talk about stuff like work, life and some naughty stories Vincent pulled off the whole day.

"Thank you for doing this, Annie. I really appreciate your kindness towards us." They are now in the old woman's kitchen preparing for some roasted chicken and some mashed potato. Vincent is all caught up with his crayons scribbling on a sheet of paper.

"No, it's okay. I am happy that I am able to help you look for Vince. I know it's hard to raise a kid without a husband Elizabeth. Aren't you really planning to find his father?"

Annie has been consoling Elizabeth regarding her situation since her pregnancy. Being the mother figure, Elizabeth confides and told the whole story to the old woman. According to Annie, she sees her as her daughter that died while still on middle school. She hasn't got any chance to be a good mother to her daughter, so she felt like she will feel bad if she will turn blind eye knowing Elizabeth's situation.

"I saw him. In fact, we will be seeing each other more often now. I really don't know what to do, Annie." She groaned putting a hand on her forehead a disgruntled noise escaped from her throat. She is clearly frustrated about the fact that she is working with Alex, the father of her kid, in the same company while keeping Vince from him.

"It's still your choice in the end. But in my opinion, the best thing you can do is to come clean about the child. I know you know what to do." The old woman squeezed her hand in a reassuring smile and started the dinner along with the wine that she bought earlier.

"I don't want to Jake."

Elizabeth and Jacob is now sitting face to face inside the cafeteria. Her old friends from the other department are all looking at her probably heard the offer from the CEO. A lot has been dying to be in the position because first, Alex is incredibly good looking, second they are hoping for a fairytale of a boss to secretary relationship and lastly, the benefits of taking a good look of his body everyday.

"It's a great opportunity, Betty. You can't find a good standing of position here in the company. Just a friendly advice, there's no harm in trying."

Amidst the deal between Jacob and Alex, he somehow meant everything he said. It's a great opportunity for his friend. A great opportunity for those who doesn't know the real reason why Betty is so adamant to accept the offer. Must admit, it's a great chance to improve her porfolio but what worry her is the chance of exposing Vincent to Alex if she is not yet ready.

"Do you think, it'll be okay?"

"Just try it."

Jacob smiled, guilt is playing in his eyes and he is second away to say he was just joking and will support her if she doesn't want to be in it.

Another day has come and it is the day she will be starting to be Alexander's secretary. The day she never expected to come. She had a talk with Mr. Jones regarding the position and who will be the one to replace her as the team leader temporarily. She remembered how there conversation escalated to Mr. Jones being suspiscious about them.

And here she is, standing in front of Alex's office door for a couple of minutes now. She is contemplating whether to get in or knock first or wait for Mr. Jones.

"Why don't you get in and let me make us a coffee Ms. Elizabeth." She was taken aback at the hoarse and deep voice behind her. Alexander stood in his glory with his hands on his pocket sporting his circle eyeglasses that made him look like nerd. A hot nerd, she might add.

"Oh, good morning sir."

Alexander's face contorted into confusion whilst scratching the back of his neck. "You know you don't have to call me sir, Elizabeth. It's not like we haven't known each for years now." He chuckled opening the office door and letting her go in first. Real gentleman.

"Sorry, but I have to. We are in a workplace and I think it's the most sensible thing to do." She then moved to the sofa carrying some of her things. She wondered where should be her table whilst Alex is now starting up his laptop ready to start the day.

"Uhh your table will be... there." He pointed at the small room with all glass windows, adjacent to his table. She thought she will be staying at the cubicle outside of he office but she got a notice from Mr. Jones to see the CEO first before settling to her station.

"I thought I will be staying at the cubicle outside. What is that for?"

"My office, my rules. Now get in."

She then immediately settled inside slightly slamming the door that made him chuckled at her stubborness.

Her office telephone rang that she instantly answered it promptly but the tone of her voice dropped upon knowing the caller.

"You're getting cuter everyday. Keep making that face, Elizabeth." Her head snapped to the guy that is laughing on the other side of the room. She slightly slammed the phone and decided to get to work and call it a day.

So far the day went by without any interruptions. Interruptions meaning no meetings and no clients. She has been doing the paperworks the previous secretary had left and arranged her table to look more decent. Her workplace is not that bad, as per Elizabeth. Nice, cozy atmosphere, spacious and clean office is what she has been looking for. She smiled to herself looking around at her masterpiece.

"Nice work."

She snapped her head to the main door and saw Alexander leaning on the door frame with hands on his pocket looking freakishly tired yet handsome. He now had his hair on different direction, indicating he had a rough day.

"Thank you." She said shyly fumbling on the drawer absentmindedly.

"Come on. I want to have dinner with some of the executives. I want to introduce you to them." He said grabbing his suit case and his coat.

"Is that really necessary?" she asked hesitatingly about the fact that she will be now seeing the executives of the company.

"Yes, of course. You will soon be talking to them on my behalf. It's just right for them to know you." He smiled and knocked on the glass window urging her to come and get out. She is keeping up his strides while carrying her tote bag and coat. The man has impossibly long legs making it difficult for her to keep up the pace. The ride to the elevator is awfully silent and she is tempted to scroll on her phone but decided to zone out thinking what will be their dinner for tinight. The elvator door opened leading to the spacious reception area. It's already five in the afternoon but there's still a lot of visitors lounging on the visitor's area. They made their way to the exit door but got interrupted by a man in a dark blue jacket calling Elizabeth's name.

"Betty!!"

It was Alexander who halted and looked around for someone who is calling her name. Betty then turned around and saw the man she had avoided for years now. Justin.

"Justin?"
