"You still didn't tell the reason why you called me here Sona" Aiira probed unable to keep her curiosity in check.

She was currently at Sonakshi's penthouse. Sona had suddenly called her & insisted to come over. She sounded so happy unlike the last time Aiira saw her. Three days back, when Aiira saw Sonakshi for the last time, she was beyond broken & lost due to the kiss fiasco. Though Aiira totally despised the idea of a hot man kissing Sona, she was contented seeing her friend hurt & humiliated beyond limits.

She was so curious to know the reason for Sonakshi's new found cheerfulness, thus rushed to her place leaving behind all her works. Ever since she arrived, Sona had this satisfied smile on her face which irked her to the core. Sonakshi was glowing more than usual much to Aiira's displeasure. She was suddenly so envious of Sonakshi, she had always been, but this time a lot more than ever. How wouldn't she be, when Sonakshi had the ability to make heads turn without any considerable efforts while she had to bath in layers of make-up & still remain unnoticed!

Time & again she was reminded of the fact that, she was nowhere close to Sonakshi, be it in looks, money or fame. In spite of Sonakshi's loathsome character, she still had a massive fan following among men which was another reality that didn't go well with Aiira. She was badly waiting for a chance to let Sona down. Knowingly or unknowingly, all her attempts to ruin Sonakshi used to go in vain due to Juhi's intrusion. That was when she decided to create a rift between Sonakshi & Juhi. It wouldn't be so easy to rip the soul friends apart. But knowing how lonely & miserable Sona would be in Juhi's absence, she decided to go forward with the idea. If everything worked out as per her plans, Sonakshi would be broken so bad that there wouldn't be a coming back!

"Are you even listening Aiira. You have been day dreaming for almost five minutes now" Sonakshi shook her best friend who stood rooted in her place with neutral expression.

"What were you saying Sona?" Aiira questioned coming out of the daze. She had an extra sweet smile plastered on her face. Anyone but Sonakshi could figure out how fake & manipulative it was!

"You didn't listen one bit. Did you?" Sonakshi asked offended with Aiira's heedlessness. Here she was so elated to share her achievements but her stupid friend had to spoil the moment by zoning out. This was one trait of Aiira that Sonakshi loathed the most! She would exert her little brain a lot more than needed. Only if Sonakshi knew what was running in it!

"I'm really sorry. I just spaced out. Now tell me. Why do you look so happy? I mean, just look at you, you're glowing Sona!"

Sonakshi couldn't help but laugh at her friend's excitement. She felt so blessed to have Aiira in her life. Indeed she was! Unlike Juhi, Aiira was always supportive. She used to defend Sonakshi & her deeds like a true friend. She used to shield Sona from Juhi's accusations. Not even once did she ignore Sona or question her doings.

"Are you going to tell me Sona?" Aiira asked again, wearing a clearly pissed off expression this time.

"Okay! Calm down baby girl. Remember the other guy at college? That overprotective brother of two worthless assholes!"

"You mean the guy who kissed you? What was his name? Oh yeah! Aadyanth Vikaas. What about him?" Aiira paused for a while & screeched not giving Sonakshi a space to continue,

"Oh Sonakshi, don't tell me that he kissed you again. Is that why you're so happy? No wonder why you're glowing so much. You're one lucky bitch Sona!" Aiira murmured the last part to herself wondering how could Sonakshi be the fortunate one always, not her.
