Jay's P.O.V
I woke up with the sun shining in my eyes through my window. I sat up in my bed. Before I could take my time and wake up, I heard somebody singing in the kitchen. And it was LOUD. I got up and stretched.
I walked into the kitchen to see my bestfriend Key'errah cooking. I smelt bacon and pancakes. Key looked very energized. I looked on the table to see two glasses of orange juice, a plate of pancakes with cut up bananas on top, grits, and eggs.
"Well good morning ugly" Key said while flipping a pancake.
I looked at her with a ugly face. Girl who the fuck ugly? I thought to myself. "What's up with all this food?" I asked scratching my head.
"Well we finna head out inna bit, so why not get a good breakfast" She said with a smile.
"Where are we going this early?" I said while looking at the clock. It read 7:49am. I rolled my eyes because it was so early. I continue to watch her make more pancakes.
"Girl did you pack yet?" She turned to look at me. I looked back at her dumbfounded.
"Pack for what?" I got up and walked to the living room and sat on the couch. Then I felt something hit the back of my head. I turned to see Key with a serious face.
"Jay we leave in 3 hours and you haven't pack yet...Nigga hurry up"
I was kinda mad because she was giving me orders and it was only 7 in the morning. I went in my room and laid on the bed. How she gon tell me to pack but not tell me how long we gon be wherever we're going? I packed a suitcase, a bookbag, and even a smaller bag. I walked back into the kitchen to see Key finished with breakfast.
"Ok eat so we can get ready" She took a seat and so did I. When I was eating I realized she still didn't tell me where we was going.
"Key" I said while stuffing my mouth with pancakes.
"Yes Jay?"
"Where are we going?" I turned on the t.v.
"To Cali, I rented a house and we gonna be there for a couple of months" I practically screamed. Key looked at me shocked. I ran in my room and pack 1 more suitcase. I was so excited. I've been waiting to go to Cali since I was a kid. When I came back Key was cleaning up the table. I helped her. When we were done we decided to get ready. Since it will take a day and a half to get there. I decided to put on spandex, a big shirt that had a picture of Tupac on it, some black high socks, and my black and white nike slides. I also put on my black bonnet. I grabbed my stuff and put it in the car. We decided to take a rental. Key also put her stuff in the car and we headed to CALIFORNIA.
1 day and a half of driving later
I jumped up out of my sleep as Key kept shaking me.
"Nigga we made it" She said in a funny voice. I laughed and got out the car. I still had my same outfit on but I was finna go shower and freshen up. I was getting my stuff out the car when I notice four more cars at the house. I turned to Key.
"Hey Key...why is there more than one car here??" I asked looking at the very nice cars.
"Girl don't worry, I hired a lot of people to clean the house and make sure it was spotless when we got here" She reassured me. I just nodded and continued to take my stuff out. I knocked on the door and a lady came out.
"Hello you must be Missbaggabitch?"
I laughed so hard. The women looked at me with confusion. In between laughs I finally started to say something.
"No ma'am, I'm Jai'lyn but my friend over there is Ke-"
"Missbaggabitch" Key said while cutting me off. The lady nodded and opened the door for us. I saw a whole bunch of cleaning people everywhere. I just went upstairs and put my bags down. Then I proceeded to unpack a little before collapsing on my bed. I heard footsteps and then Key entered my room. I sat up. And looked around.
