Key's P.O.V
"ITS MY CDAYYYYY" I yelled happily at 2:30am. I woke up extra early to catch my flight. I was going down back to Florida to see my family. Since Jmo was still sleep, I went downstairs to find somebody to annoy. I ran downstairs to see Ka'mari eating cereal while scrolling thru his phone. He looked up at me and started smiling.
"Ayyee happy cday girl" I smiled a lil bit.
"You remembered?" He looked up from his phone again.
"Yea....the way Jay be talking its like she more excited den you is lil mama" I put my head down and bit my lip to try to stop smiling so much.
"Yea she said she wanted to take me out to breakfast but I gotta get going soon"
"Where you going?"
"Umm I'm going home for a couple of days cuz my fam wanted to do a lil sum special" He nodded.
"Oh Igh well when yo flight?" I looked at the clock. 2:39am.
"At 4:00am"
"Oh you need to get going shawty" I agreed and headed up back the stairs. I was already packed. I brushed my teeth and put my hair in two puffs. I threw on a white tee shirt, some black leggings, some slides, and grabbed my bags. I dragged them all the way downstairs. Ka'mari was still down there. But this time he was watching t.v.
"Bout time yo ass got done...c'mon" I just stood there looking at him. He got up from the couch. He grabbed my bags and opened the door.
"Umm whatcha doing?"
"Driving you to the airport" I shook my head but I couldn't help but smile. He put my bags in the trunk and got in the car. I made sure I had everything before I got in the car. Once I got in he handed me his phone.
"Here play anything you want ma" I grabbed his phone and played "City Girls" by YNW Melly. He turned it up and we just chilled. Once the song went off he played a song. The he played was "Falsetto" by The Dream. I looked at him so quick.
"What?" I didn't say anything. I just sung. He turned his head towards me and looked surprised.
"What you know bout dis?"
"I have a whole playlist with sex songs on it. This one on there too" We both laughed a lil bit. I looked up and saw we finally made it to the airport. He got out and pulled my stuff out the trunk. It was 3:20am now. I got out the car and stood in front of him. I decided to give him a hug too. His hugs were really nice. He pulled me in and we just sat there for a moment hugging. He was so warm. I pulled away.
"Igh Mari I'm finna slide, I love you, be safe, and imma see you when I get back" He smiled at me.
"Yea, I love you too, and you be safe cuz you know dem Florida jits be crazy. Text me when you land" I laughed and nodded. I waved and he waved back. I turned around, slowly walking to the door.
"I love you beautiful, see you soon" Mari whispered. I was gon turn around and ask him about it but I didn't have no time. I was hungry as fuck. I went to one of the mini fast food places inside the airport. I reached for my wallet inside one of my bags and found a stack of hundreds. Must of been Ka'mari. I smiled. I sooner found out I wasn't hungry no more. I went to sit down. I started scrolling thru my phone. It felt like someone was watching me, so I turned around and there was fucking Jeremiah. With bags in his hands.
