"Nigga just hang on. AYE ONE OF YALL CALL THE AMBULANCE" I yelled while tryna hold my tears in. Mari was just sitting there gasping.
"...don't call the ambulance...take me" He said holding his side, groaning. I started to pat myself down. I only had my keys on me cuz I was chasing Jay. She said she was finna go somewhere and she was talking like she was gonna go fuck some shit up. I unlocked the car doors.
"AYE YALL HELP ME PUT HIM IN" Darren and Jmo ran over and picked up Mari. My mind started going to Jay and Key and where they were.
"We gon wait on the girls?" Jmo said looking back. I shook my head and jumped in the car.
"We don't got time. They'll know where to meet us" I whipped out the driveway and stepped on the gas.
"...where's Key? Where's key'errah??" Mari said weakly yet worried. His groans got louder as I flew through traffic.
"Trust she gon be here. You just focus on breathing d-dawg" I heard Darren voice cracking. Sounding like he was holding back tears too. Whole time I was driving I was thinking bout Jay and how I hope her ass safe.
Jay
"C'mon Key wake up" I sat on the floor next to her. She had passed out and I was going crazy. She hit her head pretty hard on the tile. I walked to go close the front door that was still open. When I looked out most one of the cars were gone. I didn't hear any of the niggas voices either. Damn we gotta get to the hospital. I grabbed key and bridal carried her to my car. Luckily I still had my keys from earlier. I jumped in and speed off. It was straight up silent and all I could think about is who the fuck would wanna do this. And why? And I low key just wanted to be with Jeremy. But at the same time, I could kill his bitchass.
"YoO..." Key said while holding the back of her head. I weakly smiled at her. She then realized what was going on.
"Where's Mari???" She started to look for her phone.
"He's at the hospital. Or that's what my senses say. Are you okay?" I looked over at her. She shook her head.
"Nope. Are you?" She looked at me with tears in her eyes. I shook my head also.
"...not at all" We finally made it to the hospital. I seen JJ's car and I parked by it. I opened key's door and helped her walk in. But she still practically ran in. JJ, Darren, and Jmo was in the waiting area. JJ was sitting with his hands over his head just straight up crying. He had blood all over his shirt and his hands. Darren was bouncing his leg like crazy and texting on his phone. Jmo looked worried but not worried at the same time. It was more like he was observing but not really knowing how to react himself. I walked over to JJ after helping key sit down next to Jmo.
"Wassup" He looked at me with tears in his eyes. I looked at him but felt so strongly. I couldn't even say anything to him. He nodded and put his head back in his hands. I got up and walked over to Key. As soon as I did the doctor came out.
"Family for Ka'Mari....uhh he don't have a last name?" The doctor turned his head sideways.
"He's very confidential" Jmo said. We all laughed a little, thinking about how Mari always been secretive.
"Well I just wanted to say it's too earlier to tell, so we'll have to send you home but we will be able to have his results in the morning" The doctor looked at us all. I could see Key's heart break through her tears.
