“what do you mean you'll move out?!”
lee donghyuck's roommate, minhyung, had no choice but to cover his ears when he heard him shrieked in frustration because of his sudden announcement. his eyes followed donghyuck's movement as the younger bid his goodbye to jeno through his headphone mic, meaning he's not gonna play anymore—meaning he's not in the mood right now.
minhyung sighed, “can you not shout? god, it's only 3am.”
“then you should've told me that at 4,” donghyuck snickered as he turned off his computer. he lay his back on his bed, eyeing the standing minhyung on his room's doorframe from head to toe as he noticed two baggages on the either sides of the older. “who the fuck moves out at 3am?”
“you obviously didn't check your phone. i was calling you and i texted you about this since 10pm,” minhyung waved his phone as he leaned on the doorframe but donghyuck still didn't check his phone.
“is it because of me?”
minhyung, again, let out an exasperated sigh as he explained that his family suddenly moved back from canada to korea because of his father's work and they wanted him to stay with them immediately. “it'll only last for a year, though. i'll be back.”
“of course it isn't because of me,” donghyuck replied cockily as he stood up to see minhyung off.
as they make their way to their unit's door, he suddenly start to wonder, “am i gonna pay for the unit now as a whole?”
“shut up, landlord's son.”
“once my mom finds out about you moving out, she's going to be mad because she'll think that i lied to her about having a roommate,” he freaked out with the image of his mother spitting fires. “you know she only allowed me to live by myself when i told her i have a friend roommate!”
“i'll find you one asap, calm down.”
having no choice but to agree, donghyuck only looked at minhyung before unlocking the door. as soon as he pulled the door open, they were welcomed by a girl drenched in rain with three carriers on the ground.
minhyung immediately recognized the girl as he stuttered in shock, “what are you doing here? why are you drenched?”
“you told me you have an extra room earlier, right? is it still available?” she panted as she dry her face with a handkerchief.
the three stared at each other for a while, donghyuck's fiery eyes trailed downward over the lanyard hung by her neck as his eyes reached the identification card.

minhyung decided to break the silence between them as his index finger switches to point to bitna and donghyuck. “so roommates, huh?”
donghyuck only seemed to realize what is happening as he shrieked again, startling the other two, resulting to bitna to cover her ears and glare at the loud one.
