She's surprised more than being glad when a guy, who she hasn't send till then, defends her. So is Tyler. Who could possibly defend him when most of the students are his fellow school mates, who never stood again him?
When the new guy continues to snap at him every time he bullies anyone, Tyler is just pissed off. And then he does the most craziest thing -crushing on Evelyn.
