Michael's P.O.V.

After asking that girl Shailene to be my tutor, I felt all warm inside. It was weird. I didn't like her that way but she was just so sweet you can't help it. Her smile is contagious. Plus she's smart and I need to have good grades for my music career to take off. 

She said yes but I don't even know if she knows about our band. Our school girls aren't really into music as much as us. They are usually really nerdy and study a lot or really religious. But Shailene is different.

I walked over to the boys at the end of the class and they were looking at me like I just commited a crime. " What? " I widened my eyes as I looked at them.

Calum- Michael why her? You know I like her!

Luke- He's liked her for a long time why didn't you ask someone else. Like little-miss-nosepicker over there? *He said gesturing to the girl on the other side of the class who was waving at him*

Michael- Oh come on guys she's normal, I won't be embarrassed to be seen with her anywhere and she's good at math. Calum I can get you a date with her if you want.

Calum- Well I don't know doesn't that seem pathetic?

Michael- It does but for some reason girls find it cute. That you don't have the guts to ask them out.

Calum- Okay fine thanks.

I felt a bit guilty but it doesn't matter he'll get over it. I pulled out my phone as I plopped down next to them. I texted her even though she was just a few tables away.

"Today after school? only 30 mins I promise x :) -M"

Then class started and I started doodling the hours away. After class during our lunch break me and the guys went to the music room like usual. When we settled our stuff my text alarm went off. It was Shailene:

"Okay you can stay for dinner too cause I'm alone :( -S"

I smirked but thankfully Calum didn't notice. Actually, what a great opportunity. I texted her back saying:

"Okay sounds great =) Can I bring Calum? Oh and probably Luke?"

As I pressed send I heard a text alarm go off. It came from outside the door...

"Okay that's great x :) see you"  she replied fast and I heard something from outside the room again.
