Letter

Taehyung took a deep breath and then entered the room.

"Oh my god, Tae! I am so sorry, the fight wa-" Taehyung put his hand up in front of Jungkook.

"Just stop, I am here on bad news. I didn't want to do this but I have to do what is best for me. We need to go on a break." Jungkook froze and listened to his heartbreaking.

He got tears in his eyes and goosebumps all over his body. The younger bites his lip as he starts crying with his arms wrapped around himself.

Taehyung closes his eyes for a second and then sits down to wait for an opened.

"I am sorry Jungkook, but I have to do what is best for myself, and you chose to stay in jail. I wrote you a letter for you to keep. It holds how I feel about you, I know I said I love you and I still do but again you brought this onto yourself. I have to go deep undercover in the US so you won't possibly hear from me again until you get out." He stands up and hands the younger the letter.

"I-I'm sorry." Jungkook chocked out a sob looking up at the elder.

"I know." Taehyung sends the younger a small smile and nod before walking out.

Jungkook stays and keeps crying until a hand was on his shoulder.

"What happened? I got called in here- oh." Ricky straddled the bench and side hugged the elder.

"He-He broke up with me." Ricky looked at the door and sighs.

"I am sorry Jungkook. This always happens here but did he actually say the words, breaking up?" He asks wiping the elder's eyes for him.

"No but still. I should have listened to my gut, I didn't have to stay in jail but he is right, I brought this onto myself." Ricky shakes his head.

"You should look through some of my letters with my girlfriend, she is really good with these types of things." He says and helps the elder up.

"I just want to stay here." Jungkook pouts.

"No you big baby, come on. Wipe thoughs tears, you don't want to seem weak here." The elder nods and stands up straight taking a deep breath.

"Thank you, I will cry more in our cell, let's go." Ricky rolled his dark green eyes and then followed.

"Gene is looking at you again." He whispers as they passed the gangsters cell.

"So?" Jungkook finally made it to his cell and climbed onto his bunk and curled in a small ball while taking out the letter.

'Dear Kookie,
Yesterday I came up with this decision and it will most likely haunt me but this had to be done. I love you so much but I need someone here with me. I am not breaking up with you, please don't think that. I simply need a break from this relationship. I know it sounds stupid but so is this letter and here I am. I got jobs I need to do and I have been blowing them off cause most of it would have been considering cheating and I would never do that on the love of my life.

Once you get out of jail and you would still want me I will be there waiting. Jin said I should write all my feelings in this letter so here it goes.

Jungkook, what I feel for you is something beyond love. You are my partner in crime, my soulmate, and my best friend. You are someone who I deeply cherish and will always respect. To put it in simple words, you're just amazing.

I am crying right now as I write this and looking through photos of us on my phone. Yoongi says we are meant to be together and to get married. I am keeping that in my head and I hope you do too. After you get out of jail I will be turning 26 and you 24 or 25, depends on which month you will be getting out.' Jungkook turns the stapled page and continues.

Please don't hate me cause I am doing this. After I leave you in jail I will be going straight to America. I don't know how long I will be gone. Stay safe in there Jungkook and if you ever need something my friend, Neo, he is a somewhat big dude. You can recognize him by the dolphin tattoo on his neck, by his left ear. Just say you're Taehyungs friend or boyfriend, whatever you want. He will hook you up with anything you want. He doesn't do drugs or cigarettes, mostly food, phones, and extra comfort. He's a good guy so lean on him anytime and if he won't help you, not like this will happen but just in case grab his left hand a squeeze hard. He will drop so fast to your knees. I broke it a couple of times, ;) and it never really healed.

I think that is all. Just remember I love you, you're perfect, be on your best behavior, and um goodbye I guess.

Jungkook stares at the drawing of the small purple heart and sniffles.

"Wow, that made me cry a little." He abruptly turns making Ricky fall to the ground.

"Why were you reading this?" Ricky shrugs wiping himself off.

"I just wanted to see and there is something else in the envelope." Jungkook sits up and pulls the thing out. "That's Taehyung? Damn, I think I am gay now."

"Yeah." Jungkook exhales and carefully put everything back into the envelope. "Where is a good place to hide this?" Ricky hums and looks around.

"Maybe like inside your bed or um keep it with you or put it in your underwear or in your pillow sheets."

"Ricky since you read this how would you feel? Would you wait or no?"

"Of course I would, my girlfriend Hyorin didn't do anything wrong, I did. This is my punishment and if she said she would wait than I would too. I don't know what gang you are in but if this dude is in one too and he has to do stuff that are considered cheating then this had to be done."

"That doesn't really help but thank you. Tae's my everything and so I will be a good boy in here." Ricky chuckles and ruffles his hair.

"Good now come out and let's go to the yard or something?" Jungkook puts the letter in his pillow sheet and then jumps out of the bunk.

"Let's go."

"Bye Tae! Be good." Jin smiles through the phone camera.

"Thank you, I just got past security and customs and am going to my plane. Thanks for doing this again Jin. I don't know if I could stay there if I am just always being reminded of something sad. Sorry that I missed ice cream time though." He teases and Jin waves him off.

"I understand Tae, it's okay and Hoseok is still with Soyeon and I have a lunch date with Namjoon soon. Take care and tell me everything that happens." Taehyung nods and fixes his earbuds.

"Okay well tell the others I say bye and secretly update me on Jungkook if anything happens."

"Gotcha, but is that really the best thing to do? You need to think only about your assignment. For your own self, I will not tell you about Kook, only if he gets out early but you are not coming back until you tell me who this spy is, who his employer is and what he has told everyone about us."

"Okay fine Jin, I want to charge my phone, bye." Jin nods and he ends the call before looking at his flight time.

"LA better be ready for me." He chuckles and plugs his phone in the charger while putting on Netflix.
