chapter 14

Toshinori ended up being woken up by his parents in a very loud way. Toshinori squeaks as he looked around and sighs as he rubbed his eyes and felt grumpy. "Maaaan this early though" he mumbles and yawned as he got out of his bed and thanked his parents.

Toshinori then walked around the palace and hums softly as he looked at all the servants getting ready for the princes birthday ball.

All in the end it was time all of toshinori's friends were invited to the ball aswell as suitors and noblemen aswell as a few noble humans. Toshinori smiled as he was greeted to each of the people there as they all enjoyed the party, toshinori frowns abit as he looked around for ogami.

"Oh toshinori come here for a moment" his mother calls out which toshinori complied then saw the gaurd he saw earlier but without his helmet "meet the improved peasant boy you chose to be your personal body gaurd."

Toshinori looked at ogami and his eyes widen "whaaaat? You? You look great it's been a while I didn't think you'd turn out this....handsome" toshinori mumbles then started rambling in a slight panic as he didn't mean it as a homosexual way (HA LIES, WHY THE FUCK YOU LIEING WHY YOU ALWAYS LIEING)

Ogami rolled his eyes while toshinori's mother giggled "I'll have you two get to know each other" she states. Toshinori smiled and nods before turning to ogami and felt abit awkward at first "good to see you" he smiled.

"Yeah that training sucked, it was difficult and I didn't think I'd try so hard to be your personal gaurd" ogami mumbles. Toshinori looked at ogami in shock and had a small blush on his face "I didn't think you'd really try" he mumbles as he fiddled with his fingers.

The two walked along the palace and talked argued with each other at some points before settling abit. "I'm looking forward to see how well you do" toshinori smiled and shrugged "yeah" ogami nods.

Then their 2 years of being together they grew attached. Ogami becoming very protective of toshinori and toshinori caring alot for ogami. "Hmmm you know what I dont get?" Toshinori hums as they both looked out from the balcony at the trading beastmen were doing with humans.

"Get what?" Origami asked "the tense feeling both humans and beastmen have for each other we're all living creatures anyways trying to survive" toshinori hums "i......I dont get it, i dont see which group is better in a sense" he shruggs.

Ogami looked at toshinori and hums slightly, "come on I have something to show ya" toshinori smiles as he took ogami's hand and started to run "h-hey! Dont run your still sick you know" ogami warns. "I'll be fine" toshinori giggled as he then stops in front of a wall in the garden. He then walks towards the wall chey your gonne run into-" he stops when toshinori had walked through the wall.

"The wall" ogami mumbles as he touches it it was solid but yelps when toshinori pulled him into the place it was like a underground cave with Crystal's stuck to the ceiling glowing and lighting up the place.

"This is where the witch of the palace studies and takes care of me when I really get sick it's my favorite hiding spot to" toshinori hums as he looked all around. "I also treat any young kids wounds and needs here" toshinori states as he points at the baby wolf he had found that was really sick.

Ogami nods slowly and looks at toshi "your...are something" he mumbles. Toshinori looked at ogami and smiled softly as he looked down and blushed "it's nothing much...but it's what I can do" he chuckles.

Ogami nods as they had fun in the cave messing with potions and stuff in there. Ogami morphed to wolf form and sighs as he felt toshinori start scratching the back of his ears. Ogami hums as he leans into the touch, his tail wagged happily as he panted "heheheh good doggie" toshinori teased "watch it" ogami huffs.

Sooner or later ogami was first to figure out that he had feelings for toshinori.

How?

He walked to his home near the palace and looks at all the couples enjoying what would be later on valentine's day. He hums softly as he looked at the sands that were selling jewelry, one necklace's color reminded him of toshinori's eyes making him blushed softly as he stared at the necklace. "Ah that sure is a good one perfect for that special someone" the seller states and explains where the necklace comes from and such.

Ogami nods "special...someone" he mumbles ashe kepted walking then looks at the places him and toshinori would sneak off too. He was really thinking things as he arrived home, "what is this feeling" he sighs as he closed his eyes.

"Shoooo!" Toshinori waves for ogami

"You are adorable" toshinori looked at ogami and giggled

"Ugh! your impossible!" Toshinori sighs out in fustration

Toshinori looked down and held ogamis hand "Hehehe I wouldn't mind....being with you"

"Aaaw you love me" toshinori teased as he pokes ogami, ogamir rolled his eyes and grumbles

"I do" Ogami mumbles out as his face turns bright red as he opened his eyes again."toshi... nori.....I do love you" he mumbles as he sighs softly as he slowly falls asleep dreaming about toshinori.

Meanwhile

"AAAAAAAHHHH what is thiiiiiiiss and towards a guy too? What will mother think" toshinori whines out covering his red face with his hands. His friends and hisashi looked at each other then at toshinori "bird brain! What the hell are you panicking for?" Dakota a tiger raised a brow and scoffs.

"You dont have to gay panic in front of us its adorable but you sound insane" hisashi deadpanned and shook his head.

"mmmmhm" toby, a mink, nods

Toshinori huffs as he looked at them "you guys are not helping! It's a weird feeling that I dont know how to Express!" Toshinori yelled as he looked at himself in the mirror and whines slightly as he touched his red face and grumbles.

"Hehehehe okay calm down tell us how much do you care or well looooove him" toby asked with a small smile. Toshinori stayed silent for a moment then sighs softly as he leans onto his palm and smiled "alot......really really really much..alot" he mumbles.

"Then go for it your majesty maybe you'll have a chance" hisashi said softly. "Yeah stop being a damn brat and just go for it, if you get rejected I get to punch that bastards face" dakota comments

"What hes saying is dont beat yourself up about this and take abit of time to think about how ya feel" hisashi smiled and Pat's toshinori's head and smiled him being a witch and toshinori's teacher, he treated toshinori like another son.

They all left toshinori to think on his own.

After a while both ogami and toshinori were both ready to confess and they did. They were at the point where they were lovestruck for each other, they were both so happy and spent their time going on dates doing cute couple stuff. Little didn't they know the disaster that was going to hit nirvasyl.
