Time jump to 5 months
Ed and Oswald are sleeping when Valerie wakes them.
"What is it? Is it the babies?" Oswald says, panicked.
"They're kicking!" Valerie says quietly in wonder, hands on her now swollen abdomen.
Oswald places a hand on her belly and gasps.
"Ed! Ed, wake up! The babies are kicking!"
"What?" Ed says quietly. Ed places his hand on her belly and his face splits in two with a smile.
"They're really kicking hard in there..." Ed says breathlessly.
Valerie smiles. "It's so weird. It's just the strangest sensation. Oh! Great, now the one over here is kicking the one over there..."
Ed can't suppress the giggle that escapes him.
They're kicking each other...
Yeah, I got impulsive...and lazy!
