Poetry - Late Night Thoughts.

believe in me.

I've waited for you countless hours,
and many countless days.

I search and search, but end up in darkness,
looking for the light of day.

I'm scared I'm going to lose you, and I don't
know what to do.

You keep saying that I'm the one for you, but I
don't see it as the truth.

Talk and open up to me, you know I want to
know you more.

Your heart, all those emotions, all those beautiful
problems galore.

You mean the world to me, wether you think
you do or not.

If I had the chance to love you once more, I'd love
strongly and never stop.

If I could see you for one more day, I'd try to
find the words to say.

To tell you that I was sorry, and that things will
be okay.

Even if things do not work out, and you choose
to move on from me.

I know you'll make everyone proud, and be
who you've always wanted to be.

Please, remember that you are strong - and
you never fail to light the room.

I long to feel that spark I felt, while laying
beside of you.

I know we'll form again as one. Even if not
now, or in twenty years.

But I know you're reading this, and this was just
for you, so please just dry your tears.

If what we had was true, then things will fall right
into place.

Just trust your heart, and do what you feel,
no matter the look upon my face.

Just know that I needed you, and still do - because
without you I no longer feel free.

You might not believe all these words I've said, but
just please believe in me.
