Part 3 "Restaurant War"

  I woke up at 8 in the morning Feeling lazy but I need to come today at the Uni. There will be a general assembly for an event that our faculty need to organize. That event will have a big factor for our grades because it will be 40% of our total grades for this term. See, I told you being an Architecture student is very tiring. All morning classes will be suspended for today to give way for the general assembly.

When I arrived at the auditorium, Somchai waved at me in the registration booth. As I walked towards him, I saw that there are other students from different faculty. Then I asked Somchai what's happening.

"Bro, What's happening right now? Why there are other students from other faculty?"
"Yeah! I just learned about it now." said Somchai
"Do you have any idea what faculty is included?" He added.
"......" giving him my worried face
"Well there is Engineering, Accounting, and...."
He stopped when one of the professor started calling us.
"All student from Engineering, Architecture, Accounting, and CULINARY ARTS. Please finish your registration, gather here in the middle, and look for your respective Faculty flags"
I looked at Somchai and he was grinning revealing his whole teeth. He knew that I hate the C.A. students.

  Once everything is settled in the registration booth, we went in the middle and look for Architecture Flag. By the way all Faculty have their own flags. Those flags are SACRED because it represent the image of the Faculty, as well as the University. Then, the general assembly starts. Every dean from the 4 faculty spoke and told us about the event.

  The event is all about "Restaurant Wars". It will be a 4 man team meaning there will be representatives from each faculty in a group. We will create a restaurant that will be presented in the event. Engineering and Architecture will be responsible for the model that will be presented, Accounting will present the financial statement of the restaurant, and as for the Culinary Arts,  they are responsible for the whole concept of the restaurant. Meaning they will be the leader of the group. What annoys me more is that, I'm a bit control freak. The deans decided to give us 2 months to finish it and present it.

  They will randomly pick the students to form the group and it will be announced on Friday . Today is Tuesday so there will be 3 days agony to know who will be my group members.  Another day in the Uni is done. While I was eating in my room, someone texted me on my Line.
Beep **
"Hi! Is this Chirs"
"Yes and no" I was annoyed by the wrong spelling of my name.
"What?" The stranger replied.
"Yes i'm CHRIS, No! I'm not CHIRS"
"Sorry for the typo! This is Tad. Remember me?"
"Oh! My bad! Sorry i'm just tired today" I replied. But where did he get my LINE? So I texted him again.
"By the way where did you get my Line-ID?" I asked.
"I ask your friend, Somchai. I saw him awhile ago in the Uni. I lost your number that's why I asked him"

FUCK YOU SOMCHAI.

"No, it is okay. Is there anything I can do for you?" I replied
"I just want to return your shirt"
"Ahhh I forgot about it already. Sure when will you give it?" to be honest, I already forgot about it but when he reminded me about it, his image started running in my head, again. Those eyes!
"Are you available tomorrow lunch? That's the only time I'm free" he replied
"Sure where do you want to meet?" I ask
"Dolce Vita? Is it fine with you? We can have our lunch there. I know someone from there I can arrange a seat for us." Show-off guy.
" Sure, my Treat" HA! see I can be a Show-off guy as well
"Well, see you then. Good night"
"Okay. See you" That ends our conversation.

The following day after our morning class, I asked Somchai and Pan to join me for lunch. But they refused, today is their 3rd anniversary and they have some plans on their own. So as the 3rd wheel in the group, I need to accept it. What a useless friend. When you needed them most, they are not available. But anyway, it's only Tad why should I be nervous. As I came near in the cafe. I already saw him seating inside at the window side. Shit! I don't understand why my heart is beating fast. So I regained myself and went straight to the cafe. I saw him still fixed on his cookbooks. Those eyes! I approached him.
