"Yup! C'mon, dinners ready! We almost had to eat it without you!" Rokuta giggled, pulling her in. These happy moments should always be cherished. Because no matter what, happiness always comes to an end...
-Late at night-
"Nezuko, sleep. It's past your bedtime, what are you so worried about." My mother said, brushing my hair in an attempt to calm me down.
"I don't know, just." I sighed, bringing my hair forward so I could brush them with my hands instead. "How did Tanjiro get taken?"
"Oh," My mother said, she looked down for quite some time. After a while, she took my hands and looked into my eyes. "Tanjiro was a unique child. I told you about how he had an amazing sense of smell, right?"
"Yes."
"Do you know why your father always danced at the beginning of the year right?"
"Yes." I said again, not understanding what all of this ties back to.
"That dance was shown way back in the family line, by a very powerful man who saved us. Ever since then, we made sure to pass it down without a mistake. Nezuko, did you ever wonder why your father was able to do it even in his state?"
"No." I thought amazed, how was father able to do that?
"It's the breath, breath that gives you the strength of demons."
"Demons? Saburo-san talked about them, but why demons. Why does that have anything to do with Niichan?"
