Heart of Cards (Seam x Husk)

Chapter 2: Moving In

              "I haven't seen you around here before, are you visiting." Seam inquired. That's when Husk realized; he had no place to stay, he was given clothes but not a fucking house. "... I just moved here." "Oh,then how about we give you a tour and get you settled." Husk thought about his options, either stay homeless or accept that invite. "Sure" Husk replied. Jevil spoke up " Let's-let's go then" and he left the room in a sprint.

               After a tour of the Darkener World filled with Jevil terrorizing a few citizens, a darkener child pulling on Husk's tail once, and a few unwelcoming stares, the three of them stopped in front of Seam's Seap. Jevil ran inside leaving Seam and Husk outside alone. It was awkwardly silent until Seam spoke up. "So what do you think?" "Of what" Husk replied. "The Darkner world.". Husk stood there for a moment before saying "Way better than where I came from." instead of prying too much Seam said "That's good to hear, I must go now, goodbye." and with that Seam made his way inside the Seap. Husk, with nowhere to go left the Seap and decided to rest under a nearby tree and he soon fell asleep.

                    Husk awoke to the feeling of being lightly shaken. He swatted away the hand and slowly opened his eyes. It was Seam with Jevil trailing behind him. Seam had a slightly worried expression. "What are you doing out here?" "Sleeping." Husk replied and turned over. Husk suddenly felt a thick piece of thread wrap around his wrist and yank him up with a considerable amount of force. Husk grabbed onto Seam's coat and used it to balance himself. Husk was a bit more awake when he realized that his face was a few inches away from Seam's. He blushed and stepped back a bit. Husk mumbled something along the lines of sorry then looked up at Seam again. "Why are you out here?" Seam asked. "I don't got a place to stay, so might as well stay out here." Husk answered. That made Seam more concerned than he already was. "Come back to the Seap with us, we were already heading home.". Husk thought about it an decided that it was better than living on the road. "Might as well.". "Uee hee hee!" Jevil laughed and ran past the two of them. Seam sighed and speed-walked after him. Husk walked after the both of them. This was going to be an eventful break.
