"She must have a lot of energy" Adrian patted her head.
"Well, we can't be like hay we have a dragon we are gonna take outside cool," I exaggerated crossing my arms.
"No, but there is a forest Ill take her there you stay and keep everyone distracted." I noded handing him my coat.
"Fine" I got up and walked out with the family.
"So there's the couple" a tall brute man chuckled.
"Oh, we aren't a couple" Adrian reminded.
"Right" the man laughed this guy must work a lot. his skin was a sun-kissed tan and his shirt looked as though it barely fit.
"Oh, this is stan he workes on the farm" Martha grabbed his arm looking at him lovingly.
"Well I need to go out but ill be back" Adrian tried to calm a restless Isis who could just barely fit in his arms.
"Alright son the sun is setting so hurry back soon" stan waved.
"Ms. is he a prince" the little girl pulled on my pants leg I squatted down to her level.
"Well let's see he's no prince just a person" I mumbled she looked out the door I stood back up picking her up and we walked outside I noticed Adrian walking into the forest. "but I'm a 100 percent sure you're a princess who else can walk and talk with such elegance as you."
She laughed and crawled out of my grip and ran to Levi jumping on his back Levi not caring started running around with her on his back "and this is my trusty steed" she giggled "and a brother is my knight" she laughed as she fell off of Levi
"Coming princess" Jay yelled picking her up I laughed as I felt the breeze flow past us I smiled remembering when my father would give me a piggyback ride and my mom always yells at him because she thought he was reckless but they loved each other
"Layla are you a princess," Cayla asked as her brother and she walked up to me I smiled
"I'm the warlock who was sent here to give you a special mission" I taped her nose her eyes brightened
"Oh, what is the mission," she asked her eyes wide and curious.
"Well in that little cottage there is a servant who waits for the assistance of a princess will you help her," I asked Cayla she noded
"Yes madam warlock we can" she gave me a huge toothless smile "onward knight" she kicked Jay he shook his head and walked into the house
"You're really good with kids" I jumped not noticing Stan behind me "sorry I didn't mean to scare you" he chuckled
"Ah no I seem to get scared quite easily" I waved off I looked out into the setting sun "I've always liked kids they are so carefree and they always smile and they always see the best in people"
"Yes they tend to take away all of your worries so are you gonna go for the pretty boy in the forest" he laughed and I shook my head
"No way he's not my type besides he's waiting for someone"
"I see I hope you both find happiness and when you do please come back and visit" he patted my back and walked back into the house I watched as Adrian walked out of the forest I waved at him I noticed Isis walking behind him with my coat over her
He waved at me and went to pick up isis I ran up to them "so what are we gonna do you can't risk keeping her out in the open" I asked he looked to the woods
"We are gonna go threw the woods we can stay toward the edge in case we have to run" he looked down at me "thank you for coming with us" he smiled
"Well it's not like I had a choice" I pated the dragons head she let out a squeak and I heard a bark Levi was at the back door and the sun already set the smell of food wafted threw the house I was practically drooling.
