That Goddamned Devil

[18] It's Show-Time.

The demon beside him was so agitated and restless, it made the mortal annoyed, in all honesty.

"Oi, brat. Quit your grumbling," Tomura groaned, leaning his head on the prison walls. Honestly, it had been quite some time he had been in the cell with Bakugou. It felt like weeks, maybe months. Honestly, he already lost track of time. The days just began to blend together. Plus, the albino was quite sure that here in Hell, there was no such thing as time. In actual reality, it had only been a couple of hours since the two demons ran away from the archangel.

"Shut your trap, stupid mortal!" Bakugou hissed, glaring at said mortal, who just sarcastically rolled his eyes and began to think. Did Dabi really miss him? If so, why was he still here? Why was the so-called King of Hell and his right-hand man beginning to complain about how he was basically pointless now, as bait? Heaving out a sigh, Tomura rolled his head to stare at the ash-blonde demon. "What?!" He had barked, feeling the mortal's empty stare piercing through him.

"Nothing. Just thinking of how we should escape." Crimson eyes were closed, deep in thought again. A nap sounds about nice right now.

"Psst! Mortal! Kacchan!" A familiar voice made Tomura open his eyes and stare at the peephole. Ah, it was the green-haired demon, Midoriya, his voice hushed. Shouto was nowhere to be seen, they had probably split up when they were caught in a game of cat and mouse with Hawks.

Tomura stood up, stretching. His body was ached from sitting too long. "What's up?" He asked, walking forward, his hand supporting his weight when he leaned near the door, staring at the timid demon's emerald green eyes. Bakugou merely clicked his tongue in annoyance, he couldn't stand any longer in this room with this mortal.

Midoriya pouted at the other demon's behaviour. "That wasn't very nice, Kacchan..." he had said in a small whisper, earning a shrug from the demon. The freckled demon lifted his right hand, showing off a set of keys to the two figures. "I pickpocketed from Hawks! I can get you guys out with this!!" The demon had said excitedly.

Bakugou blinked. "When exactly did you do that?"

A sheepish grin came from Midoriya. "Aha, that...It was on our second encounter with Tomura, as much as I wanted to use it then, I also wanted to keep it on the down-low, yannow? Kinda surprised Hawks never suspected anything, but then again...He is kinda laid-back?"

Tomura grinned. He could go back to Earth and forget this all ever happened, right? "Well then, let's work your magic."

"Hell," a feminine voice spat. "You guys really strive out of family drama, huh?"

Dabi shrugged at this, glancing at Himiko who was tailing behind the Satan, looking around the netherworld. "Sorry my dad's a drama queen," The ravenette chuckled, staring ahead. "I...Remind me, why did you tail me again?"

"Because!" The blonde pouted. "Because Shiggy's my cousin who I think of as a sibling!" Dabi simply hummed and muttered an 'oh yeah?'. Man, was he jealous of the mortal, to have at least someone to care for him.

"Are we--Are we there yet?" An exhausted voice belonging to a male's huffed out, making the two stop on their tracks and look at each other in confusion. 

"Jin!" Dabi yelled out, seeing the male falling face-first on the ground. "Why are you here?!" The Satan hissed, helping the man to get back up on his feet. The college student could only point a weak finger at Himiko, who in turn acted like she was completely innocent. "She forced me to come along"

Himiko grumbled, crossing her arms. "Half true! I personally thought that you'd be a great addition to the rescue team! Your mind works wonders! You're great at distractions!!" Dabi stared at the blonde in disbelief. Was she attempting to butter her best friend up? The ravenette didn't miss a 'I forgot you tagged along...' from the female and sighed.

"Whatever, whatever. Let's get this shit show started."
