ALEC'S POV
"Quit hitting the gas that much Alec, you're going to get us killed, for chrissake! " Naliyah shouted from the co-driver's seat. She was freaking out from my mad driving. As for me, I was losing it. Andre sounded so confused and shocked, and his words were even not as coherent as I thought they'd be. He said they were at the hospital... We always went to one specific hospital; Lopez Ibor HC Marbella International Hospital. My girlfriend was out of ways of how to calm me.

Wait, what was that fuzzy feeling I felt when I called Naliyah my girlfriend?

That's not important. She, however, stretched her arm and placed it on my right knee. I looked at her quickly, and I saw the worry on her face. Well, for her, I'd calm my butt. I slowed down, and took a deep breath. I saw her smile, and then I remembered I hadn't told her what exactly was happening.

"I got a call... My dad experienced a heart attack, he's at the hospital,"

She didn't speak for a while, but I saw the way she tensed when she heard what I told her. In a few minutes, we were there. I went to the receptionist, and demanded to see my father. I was being harsh, and Naliyah held my hand, pulled me closer to her, but she was ahead of me.

"Sorry, he's just freaking out. We're here to see Mr. Alvarez, he was brought in earlier today," she explained in the most calm way.

"I can see that. Who are you to the patient?" she asked.

"He is his son, I'm his girlfriend,"

The receptionist gave us the room number and the directions, and I pulled Naliyah with me to the exact room. When the elevators opened to the floor my dad was admitted on, I spotted Andre moving back and forth, his hands in his pockets. I tapped his shoulder, and when he turned, his face brightened and he hugged me.

"I'm glad you came,"

"I'm here. How's the old man? What exactly happened at the house?"

"I heard him make noises, like his chest was paining, he was clutching on to it, his head felt hot. His heartbeat was fast and he said he was feeling lightheaded. I dragged him to the car and drove him here. Sorry for using your car,"

"No it's okay. You did good man," I told him. He smiled and moved his head to stare at Naliyah, who was just looking around, like she completely forgot where she was.

"Is that her?" Andre whispered, and I nodded.

"She's beautiful, wait, is that your hoodie?" he whisper-yelled, and I smacked the back of his head. He winced in pain and I told him to shut up. I introduced Andre to Naliyah, and I promise, Andre was a mood killer sometimes. Or just a stack of idiocy running in his veins.

"He smiles like an idiot when he talks about you by the way," Andre exposed me. She looked at me, smiled cheekily and talked to Andre like I wasn't even there.

"Tell me more Andre, I'm hooked," she said. Andre said all the embarrassing things, and left out all the good and decent parts. I swore if he got a girl, I'd do so much worse than he already did.

"There's this photo the both of you took when you went to the Park, yeah, he stares at that photo every night before he sleeps. It's his laptop screensaver, and he sometimes stares at it, thinking he's doing work, but oops, he's in fanta-"

"Guys, I'm literally here!" I said.

" -sy world. He is just different since you came along. I have to say, I like this Alec better than-"

"Guys! Stop!" I shouted in a low voice, and their heads snapped towards me. They chuckled and I wanted to pinch their cheeks. I saw the doctor come out of dad's room, and I rushed to him. It was 'follow me to my office' situation. That was never good... Well, it was never better. Dr. Neil ushered us in and allowed us to sit.
