New troubles

Izuku's POV.

Everyone left, leaving me and Kachan all alone in the dorms. Kachan looked really annoyed, but somewhat relieved?

Bakugo: finally some peace

I guess he really doesn't like to hang around people. I decided to reassure him that it wasn't so bad.

Izuku: Kachan, it wasn't that bad

He looked annoyed when I said that.

Bakugo: yeah yeah. Maybe for you

You could clearly hear the annoyance in his voice. I guess he really hates interactions. Was it because of his mom? Could it be he just doesn't like talking to people in general? Trust issues? I couldn't really tell. Whatever it was made me worried. It isn't good to be by yourself all the time. I had to push my thoughs away when Kachan spoke up.

Bakugo: so you got bullied before?

Why of all the things he had to ask that. To be honest it's something I'm trying to forget, but I guess I can't avoid it forever.

Izuku: yeah...

He was probably going to judge me. I was prepared for him to insult me. Call me weak. I couldn't tell what he was thinking. He was just starring at me with a serious face for a whole minute. It made me nervous. What he said next surprised me, but also made me happy.

Bakugo: then I guess I will protect you, but only because you helped me!

Izuku: thanks, Kachan!

I couldn't help but smile. He was being caring. Everyone keeps worrying that he will hurt me, but he is a lot more considerate than they think. I'm still worried why he keeps hiding behind his angry mask. He should be himself and not hide it.

I saw Kachan turn away when I said thanks to him. His face looked a bit red. Was he mad? Did I do something wrong? I wanted to know.

Izuku: did I do something wrong again?...

I looked at him with a sad face. He suddenly looked at me angrily.

Bakugo: fuck no!

The next thing I know he lowered his voice turning away again. What was up with that?

Bakugo: just smile...it suits you...

He sounded somewhat emberrassed? Was he okay. It made me confused, but also happy. I felt my face heat up. Was I blushing?

Izuku: okay

The next thing I know he was back to being his normal self.

Bakugo: now go sleep we have school tomorrow!

I didn't want to sleep, but still decided to go along. I didn't want to get on his bad side.

Izuku: fine. Good night, Kachan

Bakugo: night

And with that we both went to sleep. The next morning I got woken up by the nice smell in the kitchen. I didn't hesitate to go to the kitchen. When I got there I saw Kachan cooking. He sure is amazing at it.

Izuku: good morning, Kachan

Bakugo: morning, Deku

He went to the table and put a plate of pancakes on it.

Izuku: thanks!

I didn't hesitate to start eating. The food was amazing. Kachan didn't seem to eat much though. Maybe he just wasn't that hungry.

After eating I decided to get ready for school.

Izuku: I'll go get ready for school now

Bakugo: okay
