Nora's POV:
Sam and Kat arrived at Colby's apartment. As soon as they arrived Colby's phone rang and he rushed to pick up.
"Yeah? Oh okay Jake! I will be there in 2"- Colby said and hung up. He quickly grabbed his jacket. Sam and Kat just watched him leave. Something was up.
"Wait Colby! Where are you going?! The movie is starting!"- i said and looked straight at his eyes to see if he would lie to me.
"Jake and I have to go buy something! I will back in half an hour"- he said and tried to smile. It felt like he wasn't lying but I knew he was!
"Hey Nora! Want to cook something because I'm starvinggggg"- Kat complained and went to the kitchen. Colby looked at her and then back at me. He gave me a sign to go.
"I just hate when you do that"- I mumbled and turned around walking to where Kat was.
"I love you"- I heard from behind and then a slam. I smiled a little bit but my smile faded away quickly because I knew he was lying and that they were up to something.
"Is everything okay?"- Kat asked when she caught me standing motionlessly in the middle of the living room.
"Yeah yeah! Sorry! Let's cook"- I said and faked a smile. I need to find out what they are up to.
Sam's POV:
Colby told me to keep Nora away from their meeting. He knew she would do anything to stop him. I hate lying to people but it was for Nora's good. Plus they will keep contact with me and if something happens I would be on my way.
Colby's POV:
I got into Jake's car and looked at him. He looked back with a grin.
"You don't actually think we just gonna talk, right?"- Jake asked almost laughing.
"Absolutely man! I'm prepared don't worry..."- I said.
"You think I'm not?! Pshhh let's finish this and go watch a movie"- Jake said and we fist bumped.
*time skip*
"The fuck is that place?!"- Jake mumbled under his breath looking around with a flashlight. It was an abandoned huge building. Three floors and probably a basement.
"I don't know that's the address he gave me!"- I said quietly and looked around.
"I see you've brought company..."- we heard a voice from behind us.
"FUCK-"- Jake yelled and I turned to him. Some guy with a mask had a knife against his neck.
"JAKE"- I panicked and didn't know what to do. A face appeared in front of me.
"Ahhh thank god I brought some someone with me too-"- Caleb said and grinned.
"Look Jake has nothing to do with this! This is between you and me! Leave him alone and I will give you whatever you want"- I said trying to save my friend.
"Tsk tsk- you can't give me anything...because you took my all...my love...MY GIRL"- Caleb yelled in my face and then pushed me harshly which caused me to fall and my left hand got cut because there was broken mirror or something like that on the ground.
"You are not that brave now, huh"- he kneeled next to me. My hand was bleeding a lot and I was gasping because of pain.
"S-shut up...y-you coward-d"- I spoke as he giggled like a psychopath.
Well he is, so not surprised.
"Listen here you little bitch-"- he said and grabbed me by the shirt making me face him very closely.
"...you are going to leave Nora alone- you just gonna break up with her and leave like nothing happened..."- he started.
"...like I would do that..."- I said. He grinned looking away and then back at me.
"...or...I will haunt you more than your stupid ghosts or whatever you've faced- I don't really care..."- he continued.
"You are not scaring anyone! Haunt me- I don't care..."- I said looking straight at his eyes.
"I'm not finished...I will haunt you and make you watch Nora die as I slice her throat slowly...you face will covered in blood and you know what's the best part? You will blame yourself for that! Because if it wasn't you I wouldn't be here, neither your friend or mine ..."- I stopped him there. It was awful just to listen to stuff like this especially about Nora.
"Stop! I don't wanna hear it- tell me what I need to do"- I said. He clapped his hands.
"Finally! Give me your phone now"- he said and I reached in my pocket for my phone. I handed it to him. He opened a chat. I knew exactly what chat it was.
"Dear Nora, I'm sorry but we need to break up. I can't take this responsibility of taking care of you anymore...my friends got hurt as well and I don't want that to happen anymore, so that's why I'm deciding to end it"- he read aloud with huge smile on his face. I was looking at Jake. He was mouthing something and making hand signals.
He was telling me to leave him do whatever for now. I nodded slightly.
Nora's POV:
I got a text. My phone was on the table in front of Sam. As I was walking into the living room I caught Sam reading the message.
"Sam?! What the-"- I got cut off by him.
"I need to go! You stay here and call Corey!"- he said rushing the front door. I ran after him.
"FUCK NO! TELL ME WHATS GOING ON! WHERE ARE THEY?!"- I stopped him. He turned to me and covered his forehead with his hand.
"They went to meet up with Caleb-"- he mumbled.
"THEY WHAT?!-" - I yelled at him.
Sam stood like that for 2 seconds and then started running down the stairs to his car. I did the same.
"SAM PLEASE! LET ME IN"- I yelled trying to open the door.
"THERE IS NO TIME NORA LEAVE, SO I CAN GO HELP THEM"- he yelled back.
"THEY ARE NOT ONLY YOUR FRIENDS YOU DUMBASS! THEY ARE DOING THIS BECAUSE OF ME! THEY MAY DIE YOU DONT KNOW WHO CALEB ACTUALLY IS"- my face turned red and I felt tears falling down my cheeks.
He stared at me and slapped his forehead a few times letting me in. We saw Kat too.
"A-A NOT YOU!"- he yelled.
"I'm gonna call Corey right away!"- she said panicking.
Sam drove off not removing his leg from the gas pedal.
