-Nora's POV-
I woke up in a hospital room. Jake and Corey were sleeping on the couch in front of me and Colby was holding my hand softly. Sam and Katrina entered the room with a big teddy bear and some flowers. Colby looked at them and smiled weakly. Sam went to Corey and Jake and shook them to wake up. After they woke up Sam handed them some food.
"Still nothing?"- Sam asked Colby. Colby shook his head and looked down at his feet.
I guess I should 'wake up' now.
I opened my eyes slightly but immediately got blinded by the sun rays coming from the outside.
"Ey ey she is waking up...close the curtains"- Colby said taking back my hand. Jake jumped and closed the curtains.
"Nora?"- Kat kneeled next to me. I turned to her and smiled.
"I'm ... a-alive"- I tried to joke but I guess I only made them even sadder.
"Yes, you are darling!"- Colby said. Jake offered some of his food to me.
"Thanks Jackie but I don't feel hungry right now!"- I said and laughed. He smiled and kept eating his food.
"When will you guys take me home?"- I asked and then the nurse went in the room.
"Colby Brock? Which of you guys is Brock?"- the nurse said. He looked at me. I nodded and he went to her.
"I have to speak with you"- the nurse said and went out of the room with Colby following her.
Everyone looked at me.
"Don't look at me like that! I just woke up"- I said and Kat giggled.
-Colby's POV-
"What is it, miss?"- I asked politely.
"See...Nora is fine for now. But you will have to take great care of her if you want her to live. The wound is clean for now but you will have to clean it everyday because if not it will get infected and cause more problems! Keep her away from troubles and also...don't stress her...or let's say don't let anyone stress her. She needs to rest and if something happens you know where to find me!"- the nurse said confidently. She gave me some documents to sign, so I did.
"Okay, miss, thank you so much! I'll take great care of her..."- I said.
"Because you love her"- the nurse said. I looked at her and she winked while walking away. I smiled to myself and went back in the room causing everyone to stare at me.
"What happened?"- Corey asked nervously.
"We can take her home today!"- I said cheerfully. Everyone started clapping and jumping around. I saw the smile on Nora's face. It was priceless.
-Nora's POV-
The boys helped me with my luggage while Kat was helping me to get dressed. We headed to the cars and I sat on the passenger seat right next to the driver- Colby.
"Does it hurt,babe?"- he asked.
"No, Colbs, I'm fine! I promise!"- I said and smiled.
"I can't believe I let this happen! If I was with you this wouldn't happen!"- he raised his tone. I put my hand on his.
"It's not your fault! Stop blaming yourself"- I said.
"I can't, Nora! Can't you understand! I took you under my wing to protect you from this man and now I'm driving you back home from a hospital!"- he said.
"Yes, but I'm alive...because you were at the right place at the right time"- I said. What he heard calmed him down. But we didn't speak much, so I turned on the radio.
"You want pizza for dinner?"- I asked.
"Sure!"- he said and couldn't stop but smile at me. Priceless.
*home*
The others left and said that they would check up on us tomorrow. Me and Colby are all alone now. We have some pizza, sodas and Netflix on.
During the movie Colby said something I couldn't believe I heard.
"Why don't you call your parents?"- he asked. I froze.
"What?"- I asked.
"You know...call your parents...tell them all of it"- he said. I started getting suspicious.
"Look I know you want me to get out and stop all of this drama but I promise you that this will happen soon! I will head back to my apartment..."- I said standing up. I don't know why I reacted like that...
He caught my hand and stopped me.
"I never said I wanted you to leave...the thing is that I want to help you...plus without you here I would feel lonely"- he said.
"Okay I will think about it..."- I said and sat back next to him. He wrapped his hands around me and kissed my forehead.
