Sorry that I've taken so long to update once more. I've had writer's block and one of my friends tested positive for the virus. I've been trying to keep this friend happy and alive. And everything is just so draining lately. Some of you guys might understand. Also, I listened to MCR for the first time and I love it. Now, to the story my beautiful snek loving princesses and princes and rulers.
Morality's POV
"Kiddo, Logic?" I paused for a second. "You in there?" No reply. I tried to open the door but it was locked. Anxiety is missing from his room and I just want to know if Logic knows where he is.
"Yes Morality? Is there a way I can help you?" He seemed a little on-edge. But who isn't on their first day at a very prestigious school?
"I was just wondering if you know where Anxiety has disappeared to?" I politely asked. I'm now hearing a bit of heavy breathing and muttering. But it wasn't coming from Logic.
"Ah yes. Since you have inquired his position I shall tell you. He needed help finding something in the bathroom so I've been helping him look." I'm not a great judge of lies, but he seemed to be lying.
But I decided to play along. "But why is the door locked?" I could almost hear him stiffen up.
"The door was locked because he also had to take a shower. So I've been waiting for him to finish so I could leave." I silently sighed and forced a smile.
"Well, you might want to hurry up. I just made breakfast and thought that you kiddos might be hungry."
"I'll be right out Morality." I headed back to the kitchen to make sure the food didn't become cold. Creativity was already eating. A few moments later, the bathroom door opened. Out came Logic casually talking to Anxiety. Something in my heart hurt.
Almost as if I was jealous. But I'm never jealous. And I have nothing to be jealous about. I mean, maybe it's cause I want to be friends with Anxiety and Logic already seems to be friends with him. Yeah, that's it. It has to be it.
"-ality? Morality?" I'm pulled out of my thoughts by Anxiety who had walked into the kitchen without me noticing.
"Ah, yes kiddo?" I looked over to see him wearing pretty basic clothing. A bunch of black and purple. Which is almost what he always wears.
"I was wondering if...maybe..." He seemed to be struggling to find what to say so I just patiently waited for him to figure out what it was he wanted to ask. He took a deep breath and then spoke, "I was wondering if you'd like to walk with me to school? I mean, it's a five minute walk and you have every right to say no and I'd understand if you-"
I didn't want him to continue so I hugged him. Immediately I realised what I did. "Omg! I'm so sorry Anxiety! I forgot that you didn't want anyone hugging you or anything!!!"
He chuckled. I questioningly looked at him. I mean, why would he laugh? "It's okay dad-I mean Morality." He turned a deep shade of red but at the same time he seemed to become sad.
"I'd happily walk with you, kiddo. I mean, what are friends for?" Just saying the word hurt me. But I just don't understand why. Maybe I should take some medicine to help.
