Runswick

Following the sudden death of her parents, seventeen year old Micaela Michelson gets flown out to the closest relative she has left in order to live out the remaining days until she becomes a legal adult and can access the bank account her parents left in her name.

Unfortunately, her Uncle Benny lives in Runswick, Lousiana—a whopping 1300 miles away from her home state of New York.

It's only three months until her 18th birthday, so Micaela figures she can tough it out. Yet, nothing was ever meant to be easy the moment she stepped foot off that plane.

What Micaela doesn't know is that Runswick is a magical town filled with magical people. More specifically, supernatural people.

Being the only real human surrounded by a town packed with supernatural creatures spelled to remain in human forms without the ability to leave, can really draw a few curious eyes on a girl.

And bad ones, too.

I had fun ideas for this one, but they didn't seem to come out on paper very well...
