Song of the chapter: One Step Closer- Shane Harper

*Mitch's POV*

Waking up, Distant shouts could be hear. Lonely, Isolated voices scream out almost trying to wake my dark slumber. As My eyes adjust to the darkness, I looked around in terror. I don't know where I am. I can't remember much... Just getting out of my car to save someone. Jeremy... It definitely began with a J.

My eyes landed on a piece of paper that had blood stains on it.

'You have to save someone. It's your life or your Jerome. Who is it going to be?'

*Jerome's POV*

'I'm sorry Jerome but Mitch has a decision to make.' The Stranger stepped into the light and it was Bashur. That guy that we thought we could trust.

'Bashur. Get away from the two of us. Leave us alone. We don't need your shit. Just go and die in a hole somewhere.' I said in a rage. Well, I have the right to have a go at him.

'I can't do that Jerome. Some innocent person laid down their life for you.' He smirked at me because that's my weak spot. I will take anything if I'm the cause of someone's pain.

'W-w-who is it?' I raced through my words. My mind scrambled as I tried to think of some one who would do that!

'I guess he couldn't face the fact he almost killed a fellow team mate.' Bashur said as he walked up and down the miniature room we were stuck in. Some one from team crafted. Who though?

'Give Up? Are You just so stupid that you can't guess? Well, After he hit you, he went home. He spoke to his girlfriend and his son,' A lump in my throat grew as I finally got who it was. 'Afterwards, He was seen going to a cliff and Police found a corpse at the bottom of the cliff.'

My eyes filled with tears imagining how Ian must have felt. I thought of all those conversations that we would never have. The fights that would never take place. But most importantly, his son wouldn't properly know who his father was.

'Sorry, Jerome. We must put Mitch in a different room. We will deal with you later....' Bashur said and he grabbed Mitch. I tried everything to stop him from taking him but everything was useless.
