Chapter 3

Command: Clearance for Code Orange granted.

Werewolf: Thank you.

Ela POV

Werewolf looked at me and took his mask off. To my surprise, he had a beard similar to Craig's.

Werewolf: Fuck, it feels nice to have this mask off.

Ela: I believe you.

Werewolf: My last name is L/N. This is what I look like.

Ela: What does Code Green grant since you just got Orange?

Werewolf: Green is for those you trust very much. It allows them to see your family and they can know your unit.

Ela: I'm assuming that takes a long time to get?

Werewolf: So much paperwork trying to get someone Green. My parents don't even have Green.

Ela: Jesus.

Werewolf: It can be annoying.

Ela: I believe it.

Six spoke over the intercom.

Werewolf POV

Six: Werewolf, Ela, Ash, Blitz, and IQ to the briefing room.

I sat down in the briefing room and Six spoke once everyone was there.

Six: This is a simple elimination. 22 White Masks. You leave in 10 minutes. Dismissed.

I went to my dorm and realized I still had blood on my uniform from the last mission. I left it on with the intent to clean it off after this mission. I grabbed my helmet and Ela stepped out of the bathroom a few minutes later. We walked to the roof and the others were waiting for us.

Jager: Took you long enough.

Ela: I didn't have one piece of my uniform on.

Jager: What's your reason, Werewolf?

Werewolf: A classified reason about my unit.

No one asked any more and I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out and had a text from Ela.

Ela: Didn't you wait for me though?

Werewolf: Yes. Why would they need to know?

Ela: You've got a point.

Ela put her phone away and I stayed on mine for a minute so it didn't look like we were texting each other. I slipped it back in my pocket and IQ gave me a look that said "Ela?" so I shook my head. My radio lit to life with chatter.

Command: Werewolf report.

Werewolf: Werewolf to Command, I'm being sent out again. Going radio silent.

Command: Copy, Werewolf.

I lowered my goggles off of my helmet and over my eyes. I glanced over at Ela who was staring at me and she quickly looked away. IQ nudged her shoulder and Ela hit her in the helmet. I chuckled quietly to myself and made sure my knee pads were on properly. The helicopter landed and I saw it was a yacht stuck in ice. Ash told us the plan.

Ash: Ok, listen up. I will go through the west windows with Blitz. Werewolf, IQ, and Ela, you're going through the back.

Everyone nodded and we split into our two groups and advanced on our entry locations. I broke down the door and heard five White Masks in a room near us.

Werewolf: Ela, IQ. Go to the other door.

I pointed to the second door and they walked over to it. I looked over and gave a nod before using my Active Camo. I kicked the barrier down and shot three White Masks as Ela and IQ broke in the other door. I didn't see the sixth White Mask in the corner and he shot at the two before I could kill him. IQ shot the last two White Masks as Ela fell to the floor. I ran over and crouched down next to Ela.
