How unworthy I am to have been chosen by the creator of everything
How ungrateful I am to have taken his worthy name in vain
How much more difficulties do I have to go through in order to be humbled
How amazing is He who know all things,
Love and save a wretched soul like mine
I am just like the thief on the cross next to Jesus
Sinful, wretched, broken, on the road to death
And Jesus say to me
"today I said unto you, you'll be in paradise with me"
Who am I to be under his mercy and grace?
The thief got save literally seconds before going to hell
How beautiful
Jesus has taken our place on that cross, in that grave and resurrected to give us hope
That one day we too we will be resurrected and glorified like he was
I have been saved by grace, unmerited favor of the one who does everything for his own glory
I did not contribute in anything in me being saved, or that thief
Jesus did, Jesus died so that I may be saved
The one who knew no sin become sin for me, says in 2 Corinthians 5:21
Who am I to be prideful?
The lord of the universe has saved me, not my works, not me, not my friends, only Him
And to his name be the glory
Be humble and serve the lord, for the time is near
Our works is like filthy rags before God
There is no list of rules or things to do and not to do in order to be saved
I wish though and I even dare to ask sometimes, but sadly there is none
Apart from putting your faith in what the Lord Jesus did on that cross.
What does the death of Jesus mean to you?
Who is Jesus to you?
What has been accomplish for Jesus last words to be "it is accomplish"?
